Let me start by saying that if there was a minus category they would get the top prize. As previous reviewers stated they will promise you the world and give you very poor workmanship.
They are not worthy of saying that they are installers. Used poor materials and sloppy work to say the least and actually break your vehicle in the process and then to make it worse, they try to hide the mistakes not to mention highly overpriced. And if you discover the mistakes, they say they are only human. Totally unprofessional. Go somewhere else.

The customer came into the store on Tuesday, and spoke with management. They agreed on a price to complete repairs to his car based on estimates Jeff had received. He was given the necessary money it would take to fix his car. He agreed to remove any, and all complaints about Main Street Stereo...

Review: Dropped my car off for service. When I returned to pick it up I discovered hit had been hit while in their possession. The company refused to take responsibility or correct the situation.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to take responsibility for the damage which occured to my car while it was in their possession

Review: I brought my car to Main Street Stereo to have 4 speakers and a four Chanel amp installed. I also had asked to install a wind screen which I had just bought online. The [redacted] said he would install the speakers, amp and windscreen without any problems. When I picked up my vehicle my tint was damaged and he said he could not install the windscreen. After a heated discussion about him still charging me the full price I left the store. When I got home I noticed only one box for a pair of speakers in the trunk, When I called and spoke to the [redacted] her said he could only install two speakers and had to use a downgraded 2 Chanel amp. I proceed to go to another stereo shop and asked for there opinion. The [redacted] told me that Main Street could have installed the speakers but would have had to remove my dashboard, They also installed my windscreen in 20 minutes. Main Street stereo did not install the equipment I paid for ($1800.00) and damaged my rear window tint in the process.Desired Settlement: I would like to return all the equipment he installed and expect a full refund. The [redacted] said he or his installers did not damage my tint and I do not expect to be reimbursed for the damage, you can see it was damaged by something hitting it during the install but a full refund for the equipment and service would be acceptable.

I peacefully settled with the complainant today 4/**/14 and he will no longer argue with the original installation that we did on 3/**/14.

The complainant also agreed to cancel the original complains.

Terribl quality control-will not own up to a bad connection with stereo or its harness-Once they have your money,your just an annoyance afterwards.
