I was not pleased with the level of customer service provided by this company Phone calls and emails were not returned in a timely manner and sometimes not at all For the most part the project was completed in a reasonable time frame; however there were issues with the grout and tile on the shower floor that we were unable to resolve In my opinion the shower needed to be re-grouted and the tile on the shower floor needed to be retiled Since the issues with the tile on the shower floor were not noted on the punch list Main Street would not address They applied a solution to the grout, but after one coat there was no improvement and in my opinion a second coat was not going to change anything After several months we were unable to come to an agreeable resolution to address the issues with the grout I paid the balance due and hired someone else to come in and regrout the shower and retile the shower floor I would not recommend this company

Not pleased with their customer serviceProject went months overdueWe were treated as an annoyance even though we had a simple, straight forward remodel and paid in full and on time for all paymentsWe were extremely patient even though most of our email questions were not responded to despite them setting up an email thread specifically for that purposeThey also do not seem to stand by their work as they did not take responsibility for a flood of water under our sink midway through the remodelI've been through kitchen remodels and this is the worst service I've ever receivedAvoid at all costs

Dear *** ***
Please do not close this case yet. I was out of the country on business for the past two weeks with limited access to email. I just returned and saw this email. I would like to respond.
I am pleased, in part, with Main Street Cabinets response as they now admit that the finish used when repairing the floor is different than the original finish. They have not admitted this fact before.
I would also like to clarify MsJ*** statement regarding the fact that Main Street sent a laborer to our home twice to fix the floor and we turned them away. We did turn them away because the laborer stated that he was planning to use the same Minwax product/finish used the previous times when repairing the floor, and that the floor would look the sameAdditionally, I request that MsJ*** address the poor workmanship mentioned in the original complaint (i.ebrush strokes, drips, etc.). Per the terms and conditions provided by MsJ***, the project is to be completed in a "workmanlike manner according to standard practices in the industry". Glops, drips, and brush strokes as evidenced on my floor is not in accordance with standard industry practices

It took them over months to finally install my cabinets but did not install my counter top When I asked the installer about my counter tops he said they will call us to set it up week later no calls even though both my builder and I have contacted Laura Laura seems to be the root to our problem She lacks good work ethics and customer service Her company caused my closing date to be pushed back by one month, it was scheduled to be August 19, 2016, which cost us more money at closing Under duress my husband and I decided to close even though our cabinets were not all installed with the understanding that it would be fully installed by September 28, The cabinet install happened on October 13, after the company no showed on two different scheduled install dates, each time after the fact the company claimed that our cabinets weren't in their warehouse even though they had confirmed with our builder that they had them Still no counter top At 12:31pm on Oct 20, I contacted her again at *** after her sales representative at the Hancock Village location told me she was in charge of this chaotic situation I honestly just want my counter tops to be installed You would think that she would just alleviate this problem so she would no longer hear from us and our builder but instead she blatantly ignores our phone calls and emails to try to resolve the situation Unfortunately the cabinets and counter top are paid in full since in good faith we thought they were going to deliver both cabinets w/ counter tops and good customer service in a time frame that was promised to us There are way more cabinets company out there that will most likely show you more customer service than Laura at Main Street Cabinets can give

Positive experience in store, when came to home and quote, way OVER our budget, which they were awhere of from start, almost 2x's our budget. Employee very convincing that he could stay within our budget, as he said, "I've had a lot of experience with this so as you are telling me what you want I'm figuring". Not true at all! After taking our $450, which he said in store it was $250, then when we went there to get him to come to our home, he said $450 for a bathroom and $250 for kitchen. Which I will say is nothing (images of what you room will look like for remodel), was nothing worth $450. As the employee left my home he said give him a couple weeks, which was fine. That afternoon, I had images and quote of more than double budget?????? Didn't quite understand that, also I told him I was terribly disappointed, he said he would rework quote. Which was nothing like what I wanted to do, it was the same bathroom!!! I have called owner, finally she talked to me, told me she thought I was a solicitor that's why she had not called me back, in fact she asked me who I was with and I said no one, I'm a potential customer. She listened to my complaint and said she would get back to me in a week, I had to call her back and much back and forth, I have gotten no where! We feel as though we were taken advantage of and they have our $450 and we have nothing, haven't heard from them on weeks!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEY TO ANYONE!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! I will share this with my friends and family who are like us, owns there home and looking to do some remodels!!! Such a shame.....asked for our money back, haven't heard from owner at all since last conversation. I DO NOT recommend Main Street Cabinets!

Dear [redacted]Please do not close this case yet.  I was out of the country on business for the past two weeks with limited access to email.   I just returned and saw this email.  I would like to respond. I am pleased, in part, with Main Street Cabinets response as they now admit that the finish used when repairing the floor is different than the original finish.  They have not admitted this fact before. I would also like to clarify Ms. J[redacted] statement regarding the fact that Main Street sent a laborer to our home twice to fix the floor and we turned them away.  We did turn them away because the laborer stated that he was planning to use the same Minwax product/finish used the previous times when repairing the floor, and that the floor would look the same.Additionally, I request that Ms. J[redacted] address the poor workmanship mentioned in the original complaint (i.e. brush strokes, drips, etc.).  Per the terms and conditions provided by Ms. J[redacted], the project is to be completed in a "workmanlike manner according to standard practices in the industry".  Glops, drips, and brush strokes as evidenced on my floor is not in accordance with standard industry practices.

The repairs that were initially made to the floor were not from defects in installation nor from defects in the product. After Main Street made the minor repairs an inspection was performed as the owner still complained of areas. Upon an inspection it was deemed that there was a high level...

of moisture in the crawl space which was causing issues in the floor. Main Street as a courtesy replaced some boards and spot finished the area. Main Street did unknowingly use the incorrect sheen. The sheen is just slightly more glossy than the existing. Please note the sheen variation is hardly noticeable. The method to remedy is to buff the area and apply a new coat of poly.  Main Street has sent 2 employees on 2 separate occasions to make this repair. Both times the homeowner requested that a certain method be performed or else no work is to be done. The employees were sent away both times.
Main street should not be held liable for the repairs that are needed on this due to the fact that it was neither a defect in install or defect in product. However we have been more than willing to help the customer. Our install warranty, as attached, in section E does suggest that it is at our discretion on how to handle a warranty matter and that an installer must be allowed access to the job site.
We are more than willing to apply the lighter sheen to the spot in question and did let the owner know they would be given our next available date. Our terms and conditions, as attached, does state that if a owner reschedules that they will have to take our next available. Main Street can not be held liable for not making repairs if we are turned away from the site.
If the damage from moisture issue is extensive or persist the owners may consider this as a claim on their homeowners insurance.

I was not pleased with the level of customer service provided by this company. Phone calls and emails were not returned in a timely manner and sometimes not at all. For the most part the project was completed in a reasonable time frame; however there were issues with the grout and tile on the shower floor that we were unable to resolve. In my opinion the shower needed to be re-grouted and the tile on the shower floor needed to be retiled. Since the issues with the tile on the shower floor were not noted on the punch list Main Street would not address. They applied a solution to the grout, but after one coat there was no improvement and in my opinion a second coat was not going to change anything. After several months we were unable to come to an agreeable resolution to address the issues with the grout. I paid the balance due and hired someone else to come in and regrout the shower and retile the shower floor. I would not recommend this company.

Review: MainStreet installed wood floors which required repairs. The repairs were done multiple times by one of MainStreet Cabinet's general laborers - not a flooring professional. The laborer hand sanded the floor area and slapped on MinWax. Consequently, the repairs resulted in a finish that was noticeably inconsistent with the original floor. In addition, the inferior workmanship left noticeable drips and brush strokes. MainStreet called in a flooring professional (Poirier Flooring) who inspected the floor. Poirier told us that the finish could be made significantly more consistent with the original flooring if the polyurethane was professionally applied and if professional grade polyurethane (not MinWax) was used. Because the contract states that workmanship will be completed according to standard practices in the industry, and the fact that MainStreet's industry specialist made a recommendation that MainStreet did not follow, the work performed to repair our floors is not in accordance our contractual agreement.Desired Settlement: We want our floor to be repaired by a flooring professional - not one of MainStreet Cabinets' general laborers. We would like the polyurethane applied by a flooring professional/company. In addition, we would like the same professional grade polyurethane used on the original floors used on the repair.

Fantastic work by Main Street Cabinets! Our Kitchen looks amazing, and we are so happy with the results. Working with MSC is one of the best investments we've ever made. We will definitely engage them again to remodel our bathrooms next.

Not pleased with their customer service. Project went months overdue. We were treated as an annoyance even though we had a simple, straight forward remodel and paid in full and on time for all payments. We were extremely patient even though most of our email questions were not responded to despite them setting up an email thread specifically for that purpose. They also do not seem to stand by their work as they did not take responsibility for a flood of water under our sink midway through the remodel. I've been through 3 kitchen remodels and this is the worst service I've ever received. Avoid at all costs.

Main Street did my bathroom and I was very pleased from the office staff to the workers. The biggest compliment is how nice the workers are. It was a joy to have them in my house everyday. I do recommend this company if you are looking for a bath project.

Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The job started as promised and finished in a timely manner.

I had my kitchen and bathroom redone by Main Street Cabinets and they were absolutely great. The service was good, the workers were polite and cleaned up everything. It looks like a brand new home. Thumbs up for them... Thank you
