to find a carpet installer that will do 1 single step of a stairway.

I am rejecting this response because:
1. Carpeting on the lowest four steps - around the railing and cage - needs to be replaced; just doing "1 single step" as proposed by Main Street Exteriors does not resolve the problem.2. Regarding the other statements:a. "Customer refuses to get it fixed by my guys"There has only been one guy, and he is the original installer. While he tried diligently to do a good job, he apparently does not have the experience to do a professional installation around the metal railing and cage. So having him attempt to re-install the carpeting will not resolve the issue.b. ".....warned about using his own product, which was a cheaper material and hard to work with." The carpeting was purchased through an interior decorator from Aubry Angelo, which has a showroom at the International Market Square in Minneapolis. The decorator has previously used this carpeting in numerous homes without any installation problems. The response by Main Street Exteriors is unsatisfactory as it does not propose a solution that will lead to a professional re-installation of carpeting on the four lowest steps of the stairway.Note: Since his initial response, Mr. [redacted] did visit our house on October 8 to view the area in question and promised to look for a qualified carpet installer. He also stated that he would get back to us in one week.
