This client should be well aware of the 25% fee on their purchasesIt's stated on the contract they signed when they opened the account with National Trade Association (NTA) in 1999, a copy of which is attachedWe acquired NTA in They have been charged the 25% fee on every purchase since we acquired the account and most likely on every purchase since the account was openedA copy of their transaction history since we've owned the account is attachedThe history prior to our acquisition is not in our system and would require substantial time from our IT department to recover such old recordsFrankly, for a client that has been trading with us and our predecessor since to suddenly become unaware of the transaction fees they've been paying for years is ridiculous

The fact the contract is years old is irrelevant as is the fact the person who opened this account is no longer with your companyYour company opened this account and is still responsible for itAnd if you require a new trade agreement every year, why has one not been done? There have been transactions every year since we acquired this account in and not once has a new agreement been requested by your company. The terms of our agreement have not changed since the account was opened and your company gets a statement from IMS every month, a statement that shows every transaction on your account, including the feesI'm not sure how you can claim to be unaware of them when simply looking at the statements would show the 25% fee on every purchase. This balance is dueIf you're not going to pay it, we'll simply proceed with appropriate collection action

I wasn't expecting just an unprofessional reply from a "professional" business. A contract signed in 1999 is over 15 years old. How does that have any significance? We require trade contracts to be renewed each year. Also, people that worked at the resort in this position in 1999 no longer work here. This is not an acceptable response.
