Hello, My name is [redacted] and I am the director of the Maine Academy of Gymnastics I am writing to response to this complaintIn order for a business to run efficiently, standard practices are involved on many levelsOur policies are stated on our website and on the registration forms that are needed when enrolling a student in a program at Maine AcademyWe have policies in place regarding tuition and the timeframe involved with paymentsThis family was aware of the policies as several e-mails were exchangedWe do understand that exceptions are in order in some cases and we consider every situation thoughtfullyThe reason presented for authorizing a refund in this case wasn't sufficientPersonal reasons is not something we feel qualifiesWe have credited the account and have offered alternative programs to chose fromWe do hope to see this family again and wish them wellI hope they will let us know if they would be interested in something else at Maine Academy and we wish them well always.Sincerely, [redacted] Maine Academy of Gymnastics

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. . I gave the personal reason because it was in fact, personal. My daughters father has stopped all child support payments for the past four months, and this unfortunately was one of the extras that had to be cut. I have documents from dhhs backing this up. I really feel they are just being difficult. We are in a tight situation and need a refund for unused services, not a credit.
