Unfortunately the only part of this statement that is true is that the former client in question did have his wife drop off a folder (not a w2) worth of paperwork during the snow storm on Monday February 2, Within hours we had received the first three phone calls asking us if the
information had been enteredMy secretary responded with a call that we had the information but because of the Snow storms that have wreaked havoc with all of the New England businesses, we were going to need a time to enter all the data and review itThis person continued to call multiple times a day to which we responded with the same comment each time that we had the information but needed time to review itThe final straw came when I was sitting in my office with a client and heard someone yelling at my secretary through the phone line from a room awayAs soon as I was done with my client I called the gentleman in question and told him that I felt we were unable to serve him in the matter that he felt he needed and asked him to pick up his paperwork and seek assistance with his taxes elsewhereWhen he sped into my office parking lot shortly after I personally met him in the front office and politely handed him his paperwork and told him to have a nice dayUnfortunately he decided to start yelling at the top of his lungs about my staff and the unprofessional manner in which he was treated so I told him to leaveAlso unbeknownst to him I had clients in the other office who heard the entire exchange.For the last few years this person has been increasingly demanding and rude to me and my staff, however I felt I only had to deal with him once a year and that the money was worth itI was wrong and will not make that mistake againThis incident has taken time and attention away from other clients who deserve better and I will not waste any effort on his personal attacks on various web sitesI only apologize that I asked my staff to put up with this behavior for as long as I didWitnesses and phone records will back up all statement that I have madeThank you for making me aware of this commentary.*** *** Owner of Maine Tax Professionals
