[redacted] was issued a check for damage reimbursement during the week of AugustPlease contact William S [redacted] at ###-###-#### if check has not been received

On 7/11, the customer came in to report damages that happened on 7/(days later)This fact alone makes it hard to review a possible incident since the car had left the property for days prior to reporting and a lot could happen in that span of time to damage her vehicleShe did not contact us
the same day nor did she return the same day to inform us there was a problemWith that being said, we made an effort to check our cameras to see if we could determine the cause of the scratchesWe needed her receipt so we could narrow down the time as we did have a very busy day and we washed a lot of carsIt was determined that there were no issues in the tunnel and there were no other customer complaints about damages that dayIn regards to the customer stating that the scratches had to be caused by "metal on metal", there is no metal on metal that can touch the car during the wash processWe use all soft cloth and closed cell foam clothThe only camera footage that showed any possible damage being done to the vehicle was when the customer was vacuuming their car and they were dragging and slamming the hose against their carThis could definitely scratch their carAs for any othe scratches on the car , we feel 100% confident that they were not caused at Pete's Express Car WashIn closing, we do have a sign that states "We are responsible for your vehicle", and if we cause a problem we take 100% responsibilityHowever, it also states on the sign that we will not take responsibility for prior damage, and in this case, we have determined that we did not cause the scratches on the vehicle

I have passed the concern on to our manager, Jesse, and it was reported to me that he handled the customer's concern and they are satisfied

Handwritten response

Revdex.com,I apologize for the late response in this matterAs good
long standing members of the Revdex.com it is our main priority to respond to all
customer issues in a timely mannerIn regards to the claim about our website
and our undercarriage service we have to respectfully disagree with
the
complaint registered by *** ***To start, we have had no issues with
the “Contact Us” section of our websiteFurthermore, we are open days a
week, days a yearOur hours of operation are Mon.- Sat7am to 7pm, Sun
8-Our location manager is scheduled days a week and there is always at
least one manager on dutyWe have had no issue with customers calling us
as wellSo I am not sure why he could not contact us or why he did not just
come in and talk to our manager like 99.99% of our customers do if there is a
problem? Secondly, in regards to our undercarriage wash service; there is
nothing “bogus” or “misleading”The service is designed to spray water
underneath the car to help loosen road contaminants (e.gsalt)It is a
standard service in the car wash industryWe are sorry that *** was
unhappy with his wash and it is our standard policy to rewash a customer’s car
if they are unhappyThat is why it came as a complete surprise that he talked
to a “car wash technician” and they told him it was “because he had a big
truck”This is not our procedure and it must not have been a manager he
spoke withOur procedure is to listen to the customer, look at the
vehicle, solve the problem (e.grewash the vehicle), and thank the customerI
am sure if he would have talked to a manager I would not be typing this letter
right now and we apologize for any miscommunication in this matterIf you have
any further concerns please let us know.Regards,Drew A

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I explained to them on the day I came to the business, that I had noticed the damage as soon as I got home the day I washed my car. I also stated to them that it is not in my nature that I am not one to fuss and complain and I had hoped that this would be an easy fix with some wax or buffing. It was after I took the car to a shop to inquire if it could be buffed out that I found out it would indeed need to be repaired and painted due to how deep it was. The body shop told me to inform the car wash of this as it should be their responsibility. As for the explanation at the wash, the young man emerged from "viewing" the video and stated that they could see where it had happened and yet they would not take responsibility because I had vacuumed the car after. So they saw how it happened on the video yet still went ahead and denied they were culpable. It is absolutely incredulous that they would insinuate that the hose was bouncing all over the car and scratching it. First of all, it was not being tossed all over the car, I have too much respect for my vehicle to carry on like that. I viewed that video and it did not happen, I assure you. In addition, if indeed the hose was bouncing all over the vehicle it would not have created a perfectly straight line along the car, rather it would have been a zig-zagging scratch. Their accusing me of coming in with a complaint against them after scratching my car elsewhere is beyond reprehensible. While I am not surprised that they are once again attempting to escape liability, it is still disheartening. It is shameful that their policy is to blame the customer at all costs. It may be a laughable matter to them, but they have lost customers due to their treatment of me.  they have lost customers due to their treatment of me

I am rejecting this response...

because: the coustomers who saw the argument did not see it until about 15 min after initial start of the conversation when the gentalmen [redacted] had lied to me multiple times and the damage on my vehicle was not from previous it was due to the car wash ripping the wiper off and the wiper scratching the paint the sad part is I watched it happen while I was turned around talking to my children calming them down I have no problem never returning to this establishment seeing as I don't want to cause any issues nor do I want more damage I would just like the damage that was done to be fixed!

Review: To begin the new name of this car wash at this address is 'Pete's Express Car Wash' and their website is: http://www.petesexpresscarwash.com/page/title/home/
I have been trying to submit a complaint to this business for months now and every time I go to their website and click 'Contact Us,' it brings me to the same page which I fill out accordingly and submit my complaintEvery time I submit the complaint there is an error message that appears that is the following:
Warning: [redacted](): [2002] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not (trying to connect via [redacted]) in [redacted] on line Warning: [redacted](): A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respondin [redacted] on line A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond
I have been trying to submit this complaint since January and nothing has changedI would love to call this business but there is no phone number on their website to reach them by
The complaint I was trying to express to them is a bogus service that they supply that is stated in the letter I have been trying to send to them for months nowInstead of re-writing the complaint I will copy and paste my complaint letter to the car wash:
Hello,
I have recently been using your car wash to clean the exterior of my [redacted] XLT, and have discovered something that is misleading and deceiving to me and your customersRecently I have discovered that my vehicle's undercarriage rust rate has been accelerating due to the salt that is laid down to prevent ice formingThe salt increases the rate of oxidation (increasing the amount of iron oxide a.k.arust)One of the services that you offer is the 'Underbody Wash' which is explained as: "A clean, dry, shiny car isn't enoughOur Undercarriage Wash helps to gently loosen road contaminants from under your vehicle to aid in corrosion preventionThis is especially important after long road trips, during rain, snow, or if you have recently driven anywhere near the oceanEach of these elements can cause rust and erosion to your vehicle." This is the exact reason why I wanted this serviceI did not have the option to select this service to tag onto the $or $wash, so I decided that the $was worth it to rinse off my underbodyI used this $wash a week and a half ago, and thought nothing of itToday I used your car wash in West Chester today, and again purchased the $wash, solely for the 'Underbody Wash' serviceAfter pulling around to vacuum the interior, I looked under my truck to see how the 'Underbody Wash' had doneI was surprised to discover that almost my entire underbody was completely dryThe only parts that were wet were the outsides where the regular car wash had dampened those parts; i.ethe 'Underbody Wash' did not do a thingI went over to one of your car wash technicians and explained to him my problemHe proceeded to tell me that the 'Underbody Wash' did not work because I had a "big truck." My truck has no lift kit or spacer kit on itThe tires are aftermarket and make the truck a little under inches tallerRegardless whether my truck was lifted or not, the 'Underbody Wash' should have at least reached the underbodyIf they in fact did not due to lack of pressure, then no matter what vehicle is passing through this car wash with this service, it is going to accomplish virtually nothing in the description in which you have provided for the 'Underbody Wash.' Having said that, I implore you to: Afix this problem so that the service provides what you have stated on your website, or BTake this misleading bogus service off of your car wash service list
Sincerely,Desired Settlement: To fix their website so customers can contact them if need beFix the service problem so that the service provides what the car wash has stated on their website, or BTake this misleading bogus service off their car wash service list
