In Novof 2017, I had a crown come off from a back molar I went to Aspen Dental and the dentist examined the crown He informed me that he could put it back on, however, it would come off again as the crown did not go under my gum line I told the dentist that the crown was only two years old and very expensive He told me to please wait and he was going to make sure my insurance was going to cover it He returned approxminutes and told me that my insurance would pay for the new crown in full and I would not owe any money (price of the crown was never discussed) After several trips back, the new crown was put on my molar and the old crown was discarded by the dentist(I have had no problems with the new crown) During the summer of 2018, my wife received a bill for the crown in the amount of $ I immediately contacted Aspen Dental and they assured me they would look into it I was told many variances of the reason I was being billed including the de

I took my year old in for initial evaluation x rays completedDr requested extra after full mouth xrays completed asked if extra x rays covered by dental insurance -they were not sure My dental insurance covers one full set a year and cleaning times a year 100% A few cavities were found I was sent to talk about the cost - was 2,on a year olds mouth !!! I asked if the xrays and cleaning were deducted as they are covered by insuranceI was informed that the doctor ordered a "special cleaning" that was not covered by insurance the cost I work as a Nurse practitioner and services not covered are elective -cosmetic-ectI asked if they would do just a regular cleaning that was covered so we could proceed with the fillings-she left the desk and asked the dentist DrA [redacted] (owner of this dental office location) ---the answer NO -until I agreed to the cleaning they would not start the fillings neededI am requesting a refund for this visit as I now

I went for my six month check up and cleaning on 5/11/I have Delta Dental insurance and this was my third visit to Aspen DentalThey did my cleaning as normalI have upper and lower dental implants which have never required any extra cleaningThe dental hygienist did not even floss under my implants as normalWhen I was leaving, the billing person said "oh, did anybody tell you there is an extra charge for cleaning your implants? Around $74.00"I said no and that I have never, at any dentist, had an extra charge for my implants
When I received the bill, they charged per upper and lower implants for a total of $When I spoke to the billing person on the telephone, they said there was a new NYS law that required them to list the implants under their own billing codeI asked if that meant they had to charge for it since no extra work is being completedThey said they would rebill my insurance company

On 6/19/I consulted with Aspen Dental and agreed to treatment costing 3, I paid, by personal check $700.00, and my wife signed for a Dental First loan in the amount $1,totaling $ Thinking all was fine I then received a bill for $from Aspen Dental dated 7/23/ Several days later I went to Aspen Dental to speak with the financial people Met with, I did not get her name, and she said "You are here about a bill correct?"I said "yes" She then said, "because the original quote is a binding document, this amount is being written off" I said, "thank you, you have made my day" I left believing that all I was then responsible to pay was the Dental First loan, which is being sent in the next few days, it being due on 8/20/ So I went today, and was told that I owe $ My surprise was evident, and I probably got a bit frustrated I spoke with the regional manager, who was quite confrontational I told her that the person I spoke with earl
