Mainstage requires payment in advance before preparing a plan for lighting. When the plan was develiped, it was inadequate but since it had been paid for there was no recourse. Efforts to remedy the situation were net with arrogant condescension.

Feedback was offered but no response received. Work done was shoddy, missing parts, and did not reflect the initial contract. In a project involving dozens of suppliers and contractors, the Mainstage people came to be despised as despite paying full price for their work, additional lighting was required, rewiring needed to be done, and many workarounds developed.

They made themselves a laughing stock and we could not get rid of them fast enough. I cannot understand how they remain in business, as neither design nir execution was even adequate. One team they sent, quite new, was afraid to mount scaffolding, which seens ludicrous in their business.
