Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseI am tired of going back and forth with this issue. My family has lived in the area for over forty years and were customers of the original [redacted] and it is very evident that since then the  quality of service has gone down. I have posted a complaint on [redacted] about my experience and I am not the only customer that has had problems with this cleaners. I may also print these complaints out and post them around the neighborhood so no one else has to go through this situation. A good business would have admitted to their mistake and offered a solution to the problem to keep a customer happy. I'm so done with this issue.

This customer named [redacted] brought two dress to my dry cleaners on Sept [redacted] 2014, one black color, one orange color.
Both dresses had stains on, which is why this customer brought these clothes to be dry cleaned. The orange color however had not only stains, but also color fades that it...

cannot be removed by dry cleaning.
I explained to the customer and told her I will try my best but I cannot guarantee the result. And she accepted. I even wrote it on the receipt which I printed it out one for the customer, one for myself; which is the standard procedure for my facility.
The receipt clearly states that there are fade, dye color and NOT responsible for it. And the customer was well aware of it.
Now when this customer came back to pick it up, she was not happy about the result, so I explained her the same thing that I told her when she dropped her clothes off. However she wouldn't admit it as if she was just trying to get free service by not paying for my service by complaining.

What they said are a bunch of lies. My dress was not orange, it was hot pink and was not faded when I bought it in. I have many pictures with the dress on to prove it. They faded the dress and my black dress did not have stains on it. The dress also has color runs on it from them which was not on the dress when I bought it in. The lighting in the dry cleaning place was really bad so I did not notice the fading right away. I had to step outside to see it. If I had noticed it in the store I would have never paid for that dress. They would not give me my original receipt back. Then I noticed my receipt said dress did not respond to cleaning before they even cleaned it. I did not want my dry cleaning for free. I only asked back for the money for the messed up item. Which was just 15.00 dollars. The person I dealt with is not the person who responded to the complaint, so how do they know what really happened. I know this for a fact because the person I dealt with could not speak English well enough to string these sentences together. There are also many complaints about this cleaners on [redacted] all of which I have experienced. I have also added one.

Review: I took a bold printed vintage dress to them with two stains. When I got my dress back the spots with the stains were faded and the dye had run on the dress in only those two spots. The rest of the dress was perfect except for those two spots. The [redacted] said I bought the dress in like that with the fading and color runs. I said no I didn’t the dress was like new except for those stains. He said he cleaned those spots 3 times. I said that’s why those two spots are faded and the rest of the dress is in tact. I said you could have called me and said you could not clean it. Why clean those 2 spots 3 times. The [redacted] kept saying I bought the dress in that way. All I asked was to be reimbursed for the cleaning of the dress, which was $15 dollars. The [redacted] said no then tells me my dress is cheap and I should take him to court. The [redacted] didn't say sorry for the wrongdoing. He would not give me a copy of my original receipt and when they did I had to sign for it and it was not my original receipt. I know this because the receipt they finally gave me said my dress did not respond to cleaning. If this was the original receipt how could you have know my dress did not respond to cleaning if you did not clean it yet.Desired Settlement: I would just like to be reimbursed for the cleaning coast. The dress can't be replaced or repaired. It's vintage.
