Review: This cleaners damaged my suit , and didn't take ownership of what they've done. When I brought it to there attention a older gentleman with glasses. Acted very unprofessional and disrespectful raising his voice, aurging with me. Not once was I offered a refund for the dry cleaning or merchandise. I will not return for any services or recommend them!!!Desired Settlement: Mostly an Apology

On Friday April 3rd, the complainant called my place of business and spoke to me to inform me that we had not gotten a spot out of his white suit. He stated he had just purchased it and brought it in to be cleaned and pressed following alterations. I asked him at that time to bring the suit in so we could look at the problem and decide how to proceed. His Mother then came in with the coat and I worked on the spot for quite some time without success. The problem area was approximately dime sized or an inch in diameter at the bottom of the suit coat. When looking at the suit I could tell it was a scorch mark, which we could not possibly have caused. When he came to pick it up I told him this and showed him how it was not possible that this mark was made by our equipment. We use steam and all of our irons have a nylon safety “shoe” which fits over the hot surface to prevent scorching. We also use a steam presses which have a large surface, if it was responsible for that it would be in a much larger area on the coat.The complainant’s manner of speaking over the telephone was very hostile, however when he came into the business he was very calm. I don’t believe I was unprofessional and I did tell him I was not prepared to make any reparation as I believe we did not damage the suit. Having been in this business for over 28 years I have had to make reparations for damage to garments. I don’t know if the complainant knew that the mark was on this suit when he brought it in however, I am certain we did not damage this garment. Our equipment could not have possibly made such damage that was evident on this garment. Our employees have multiple years of experience and this has never happened.My wife and one of my employees were present at the time I was speaking to the complainant. At no time do I believe I was hostile or inappropriate. I just explained to him what I was and was not prepared to do. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
