Majestic Lake Financial, Inc(MLF) is in receipt of your communication dated August 1,
MLF has reviewed the customer’s complaint and
investigated her fileMLF’s processing department has confirmed that the customer wished to pay her loan off in full using a bank account that MLF’s payment processors do not work withThe customer then indicated that she would pay the loan off with two money ordersMLF only received the smaller of the two money orders, in the amount of $161.15, and did not receive the larger $money order, which was confirmed after a diligent search
Subsequently the customer informed MLF that she put a stop payment on the larger money order and has agreed to use the original bank account information to make payments
As this issue has been rectified by the Processing department, MLF does not believe that the customer’s requested refund is warranted and MLF considers this matter closedMLF encourages *** *** to contact the customer service department should she have any additional issues
MLF is pleased to be able to assist the consumer in this manner, although it is under no legal obligation to do soMLF is located on sovereign land of the*** *** ** *** ***, which is a federally recognized Indian tribeIt is licensed by the *** *** ** *** *** to make small loansThe MLF loan agreement and website contain all disclosures required by *** *** ** *** *** and federal law and make it clear that all transactions are governed by the tribal law of the *** *** ** *** ***.
