My fiancée and I visited the property months before our wedding We were impressed with the rooms and rates We submitted a credit card to hold our and a couple of other rooms, with an understanding that we would potentially have at least ten more rooms booked by the wedding date As the date drew near, they had not returned our calls and emails We finally got in touch with them, a "manager" named Brenda We came to find out that Brenda hadn't worked there in months and we were instead talking to a Britanny, who was using Brenda's name and email address She said she had to raise our rates dollars due to the owner saying the date we had booked was now a "holiday." Feb is NOT a holiday and it falls on a Tuesday this year Britanny held firm and said she was being told to raise the rates by the owner We had a contract, and had been told the rates were solid for months before Her emails and conversations with us were downright rudeShe said the owner was sitting next to her during one of the calls, but that we couldn't talk to himWe also talked to a Linda, who was equally rude and condescendingWe took our business elsewhere, and highly recommend no one book rooms at the Majestic Mountain InnTheir business practices are shameful and despicable

Hands down the WORST experience of my life was here at the Majestic Mountain Inn. I booked the clubhouse for my daughters first birthday party and these people were not only extremely rude but they lied to me several times. First off, the clubhouse had no air conditioning or cooling what so ever. They knew this when they booked it and they knew it when they conveniently charged me for the rental before letting me walk out there to find out for myself. Needless to say, my daughters first b-day party was spent in a stuffy building that was 90 degrees with a warm breeze from the windows they opened. That's right, they accommodated me by opening windows in the middle of June for 40 people. Then they told me that we could have access to the pool since it was so hot and we could stay later to enjoy the pool. (Thanks, since most of my guests traveled about 80 miles to attend the party and didn't bring any swimming gear) However, it only got worse, they then proceeded to come out to the clubhouse and take their "accommodation" back by locking us out of the clubhouse and kicking us out of the pool. (so by the time local people got back from gathering their swimming gear, we had been asked to leave) we could stay but they would have to charge us... REALLY?!? Charge me? I should have been refunded the entire stay, now you want to charge me more?!? Disgusting, I would never recommend this place to anyone for any reason. I'm just thankful that my daughter won't remember this disaster ( I will) and I'm hoping that none of my guests get sick from all the food that had to sit in the heat ( I was told that I would have full access to the fridge, I did NOT) Thank you Majestic Mountain Inn for making this party unforgettable.
