To Whom It May Concern, In regard to the client's issue, the following should be noted: Our records indicate that the client did receive nail service from Majestic Nails on December 30, As for the original nail
technician, she did state to the client that the gel nails should last at least 2-weeksShe also stated if anything wrong would occur within those 2-weeks, we would happily repair them for freeConsidering the fact that most nail salons charge for repairs During the time of service, the client had a few additional requests along the wayShe had her own rhinestones and asked if there would be an additional charge to put them on, even if she supplied her own materialsWe said yes, because it would have been considered a nail design and that is our time that we are putting into itThe client also requested that her cuticles be cut, but the service she originally wanted, did not include a manicureOut of generosity, the nail technician kindly agreed to do itThe client was very happy with her nails before she left About a week later, the client called in and spoke to the owner about the problem she was having with her nailsThe owner told her to come in and we would correct the issueWhen the client came in, she originally had two colors on her nails; Pink on her ring fingers and dark green on the restWe told her that we would redo her nails for free, but only with the original colors she hadThe client declined and informed us she will not be returningWe informed the client that we do not change the color for a fixAlso, if a client returns with a problem, the original nail technician is responsible for fixing the mistake Here at Majestic Nails we accommodate to our clients' needs the best way possible and to their complete satisfactionWe are not exactly sure what the client heard or misunderstood, but we do not tolerate profanity or unprofessional behaviorBefore Majestic Nails starts any nail service, we advise all customers to sign inOn our sisheet, it clearly states, "All services are non-refundable." While this is true that I asked about the rhinestones in the initial visit, the technician and I worked that out -she informed me that she could not put on my stones without an additional cost. This has no bearing on the complaint at hand. I also left happy with the job -which has no bearing on the complaint at hand.  The response also states that my cuticles were cut, I asked if the service included a cuticle cut and she said no; that was fine because I still wanted the service. However, she chose to cut my cuticles toward the end -there was no issue on my part, but she so chose to cut a few of my cuticles (not all of the fingers).  Again, this has no bearing on the complaint that I raise. The issue is that I specifically asked how long the gel nail polish would last and was told that it would last at least 2-3 weeks.  After 5 days, the gel had lifted and on some nails completely come off.  The reason one puts more funds into the purchasing a service for gel polish is so that it can last more than 1 week.  When I returned, I asked if the same color that was still on my ring fingers (the pink), as the two pointer fingers, right thumb, and pinky finger no longer had polish and the others were chipped, if the technician could be paint the others all pink -which were already on my fingers. Logically, the technician is using more nail polish and I did not ask for a different color -I asked for a color that I already paid for -not purple, blue, or beige.  Additionally, I did not see a sign that says "no refunds" and my receipt lacks such a phrase or the like as well.  For the aforementioned reasons, I reject the response and request a refund for the poor service.Below, you will find a Google search for how long gel nail or shellac should last and the site it derives from: How long does it last?In general, both the gel and Shellac manicures claim to last up to two weeks — and they do! With regular polish, the top coat begins to dull after a few days, but with gel and Shellac, they look as shiny on day 14 as they did on day 1. They may begin to peel after two weeks, but the real issue is that your own nails grow out, leaving an unpolished band near the cuticle. (Thus the "two weeks" sell.)http://magazine.foxnews.com/style-beauty/no-chip-manicure-shellac-vs-gel
