Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.As of September 28, a Majestic representative has not contacted me to pay for the plumberAll must conclude that is was never their intention to pay for the plumberTheir offer to pay for a plumber was never rejected by me(see attached emails)They never responded on how to receive payment or to pay for the plumber directlyIf their offer was only to pay for a plumber if they did the shower installation and all necessary repairs of both showers that is not how it was represented by themIt was stated separately in their letter to the Revdex.comThey did not supervise a non licensed plumber to install a valve and shower drain but they have not paid for a plumber to make the necessary repairsThe second shower was disassembled yesterdayThe shower liner was installed incorrectly causing water and mold damageThe framing for the shower valve and spout was a by held together with trim nailsThe shower was not insulated per codeThe shower niche accent tile was attached to the back side of drywall of an adjoining wallThere was not a p trap attached to the drainThe shower deficiencies are basic plumbing and tile skills that Majestic is unable to supervise.Majestic has not paid or supplied materials to repair the damage of their negligenceOtherwise supplies would have been deliveredThere are many ways to negotiate their failure of installation of both showersThey only offer to oversee the project "until they get it right'" Revdex.comMESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:There is no change from our first responseShe has not changed her position to allow us to provide the labor and materials to address the problemWe offered to pay for the plumber but she has not provided an estimate nor a bill from a plumber.Under the warranty section of our contract signed by the homeowner it states the following:Contractor warrants labor and material for a period of two (2) yearsIf material failure appears, we will supply labor and materials to correct the condition without costThis warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or impliedOur responsibility is limited to correcting the condition as indicated above.As per our warranty we offered to supply and labor and materials to correct the condition without cost but MsHuerta has refusedShe says that she does not want us to do the work to correct the problem.We stand by our warranty but the warranty does not say we will refund her money

This Revdex.com complaint is solely regarding a crime for which Majestic is responsible and is independent of the reconciliation of what they invoice me and what I might owe them for work that was actually completed. Combining the two issues is neither appropriate nor acceptable.The resolution to this complaint is clear and simple and non-negotiable:My wife and I are victims of a crime from which we have lost $2332.80 worth of property.Majestic is responsible for that crime.Majestic owes me and my wife $2332.80.To resolve this complaint, Majestic must make a payment to me and my wife for $2332.80.That payment must be free of any arbitrary conditions based on their subjective opinions. Their belief of what is fair and reasonable does not afford them the authority to impose conditions on the payment to us the value of the unrecovered stolen property. What further discredits their authority to impose these unreasonable conditions is the fact that they have taken the funds owed to us from their employee who’s mistake led to the crime and who’s honesty was key to recovering some of the stolen items. That is, they are simply holding hostage cash that does not belong to them until my wife and I agree to biased conditions designed to protect their reputation. If Majestic wishes to compensate us in exchange for our silence and our agreement to not pursue damages should anything else be discovered missing, they are free to do so. We are willing to negotiate with them and perhaps reach an actual settlement agreement in that regard. However, that negotiation would be independent of the resolution of this complaint.

They have been delivered and verified by the U.S.P.S. tracker. Receipts and correspondence have been attached to this correspondence. [redacted] and Kris have been notified by email and text on September 22, 2016 and September 26, 2016 when the plumber would be addressing the issues of both showers. They did not return my text or the emails. They were also notified they could drop off supplies to install the showers.  Majestic Painting, Flooring and Countertop’s business of performing plumbing without a license is under investigation by Texas State Board of Plumbing. When I entered into the agreement with Majestic I was led to believe a licensed electrician and licensed plumber would be overseeing the project. Basic building and plumbing codes were not followed causing damage to the property. Due to their negligence when installing showers, there is a strong belief they are not competent to “fix it until they get it right” as promised by their contract. The field  investigator also has a strong belief they have violated the law and are subject to fines and other penalties. Majestic should pay for the plumber, supplies and damage to the property due to their negligence. They should refund me the costs that was paid for their failed work or pay all costs that have been incurred due to their negligence.  Regards,
