customers a list of charges, including pumping the tank, mileage (which in this case was 42 miles round trip – starting from the far side of town) and dump fee. There are additional charges depending on what is encountered at the job, which was communicated to Mr. M[redacted]. Mr. M[redacted] asked us to try to clear the line. Gary spent about an hour clearing the line with a jetter. There was still not a good flow, so he used our camera (at no charge) to locate the problem. He found a low spot in the line and showed Mr. M[redacted] where his pipe appeared to have a crack with roots hanging down. This was noted on the invoice, which was signed by Mr. M[redacted]. He then advised Mr. M[redacted] to call a plumber to fix or replace the line. When the check Mr. M[redacted] gave us was taken to deposit, it was rejected due to the written amount not matching the amount written numerically. We called Mr. M[redacted] and left a message. He has not returned the call. We have not be paid for this work.
