This is Al over at major key auto located at abbott rd buffalo ny 14220,We received a complaint from you guys on behalf of leslie hoop, on 1/26/she claims we broke her brake lines when we took her tires offFirst of all when we jack up the car we don't jack it from brake lines there is a big
gap between pinch wall and the lines, we are a tire shop and have a lot of experience we know how to take tires off without damaging anythingShe has a older car and when she said we ruined her brake lines I personally put the car on the lift and looked, all her lines which include brake and fuel are completely rusted and leakingI was king enough to bring her into the shop under the car and show her that her lines are all rotted and wet from front to back and leakingI explained to her she needs to change all the lines due to safety issues since all the lines are rusted and leakingShe was ok with it but when she called a mechanic friend he blindly told her we damaged it without him being hereNow if we made a mistake we would take full responsibility for our mistake but we did not even get close to her brake linesI personally showed her the lines are untouchedNow if we actually jacked up those lines they would have been crushed and I instructed her that the lines were perfectly still round untouched but rusted and wet. I am requesting that the subject go to a trusted repair shop of your choice and have them look at the vehicle to prove my innocence and show her and also tell you the lines are not crushedAgain if we damages anything I would have fixed it by nowWe take full responsibility of any sort of mistake we makePlease let me know your verdict after she goes to another shop.
