Review: I have contacted Major Motors about the vehicle they sold me that was involved in an accident and they never told me before they sold the vehicle to me. I started having problems with the vehicle less than a month later. their response was they do not offer vehicle history. Once a vehicle is involved in an accident it depreciates the value of a vehicle.Desired Settlement: I want $5000.00 returned to me. I purchased the vehicle for $9170 that includes tax and tags.

Review: I purchased a 1991 Chevorlet s-10 in early January of this year. I payed extra for tax and tags and have all receipts to prove it. Here we are in June and 4 temp tags later. They did not have a title for the vehicle they sold. DMV will not allow them to issue me another temp tag and I can't legally register I truck I paid for in full on the date of sale. These people are criminals. I have contacted them over 10 times and stopped by 4 times and they just shrug there shoulders.Desired Settlement: I want my money back in full plus 560 dollars for the repairs I've had to make to a vehicle that I can no longer drive. I that's not do-able I would like to exchange for another pick-up truck in the same condition as mine.

I apologize for the delay, I completed the response but have been unable to print.

I am attaching the letter I initially completed.

Please be aware that [redacted] received the title and tag for the S10 on 6/6/14,

process up.

I am writing in regards to complaint [redacted], filed by [redacted]

on 6/3/14. I am familiar with this customer and the title and tag problem.

Major Motors purchased the 1991 S-10 at [redacted] on 12/19/13.

The truck was being sold at [redacted]

The title was received at time of purchase 12/19/13, a MD title, one owner,

the signature of seller was signed by Power of Attorney, the daughter of truck owner.

When a power of attorney signs for seller, the original POA or certified copy

of POA is required by Motor Vehicle to transfer ownership and provide tags & title.

Unfortunately, we were not aware until after the vehicle was sold that the POA was

a photocopy and would not be acceptable. We spoke to [redacted],

who asked that we return the title and she would follow up. [redacted] worked on

it, but was unable to resolve problem.

DMV was contacted and made aware of the problem, authorized additional temp

tag to allow time to resolve problem with title. Since that time, we contacted the

Attorney’s office that handled the POA for previous owner. It took them some time

to contact daughter (POA) for seller of truck for permission to release POA original

to us. She did authorize it provided that we cover the cost, in which we have.

I have spoke with [redacted] several times, being sure to keep him advised on the

status along the way. I have been in contact with [redacted] in Dover, who

is well aware of the situation.

June 3rd , I again spoke with [redacted], letting him know that we were in contact with

Attorney office and expected the POA to be sent to us as soon as possible.

To date, June 5th, we received via fed ex with the original POA required to complete

[redacted]’s tags & title. (I am including copy for your review)

Also received today 6/5/14, a complaint from Revdex.com filed on behalf of

[redacted]. I understand that [redacted] has every reason to doubt

us with the length of time it has taken, that’s why I tried to keep him

up to date with the progress.

I last told [redacted] that I would contact him Friday morning with the tags

or a solution to the ongoing problem. He seemed to be okay that. I was

little surprised that he did wait for the active t tag to expire and to hear back

from us before filing a complaint.

This problem was time consuming and doesn’t usually happen, the auction

Usually would of caught the POA problem, this was missed.

[redacted]’s tags & title will be done tomorrow morning and he will

be made aware so that he can pick them up.

Hopefully, the situation will be resolved once tags and title are received.
