Customer stated on 3/12/at 9:a.mthat the 'front tires on his jeep were wearing'.We performed a diagnostic check on the front end for tire wear as he explained Upon inspection, we found the tie rod adjuster sleeve was damaged (bent) which causes the tires to be out of alignment causing tire wear At 10:a.m., the diagnosis was explained to Customer of which he approved the necessary repairs to include the tie rod sleeve, front end alignment, and purchase of two front tires for a total of $On 4/6/at 4:p.m., Customer returned complaining of a 'noise' in the front end As this 'noise' was never previously mentioned, we were unaware of another issue which is totally unrelated to tire wear.We inspected the front suspension to determine the origin of the 'noise' and found it to be the front differential universal joint on the right front side To eliminate the 'noise', you must remove and replace the axle shaft to replace the worn out universal joint We generated Estimate# for Customer providing the diagnostic results to repair the 'noise' which is not related to tire wear.Respectfully,MAJOR TIRE COMPANYGlendale Milford RoadCincinnati, OH [redacted]
