Make N Waves

Review: Inadequate service given, and no one returned my calls nor were there any refunds given. My daughter [redacted] had saved up $25 to get her nails done before she went out of town for a youth retreat. She went to Making Waves Salon and got her nails shalacked. Within the first 24 hrs it had all come off. My daughter asked the woman who did her nails if anything would make them come off like certain chemicals, soaps ect. The woman told her no, there were no restrictions and that she would not need to return for two weeks. I contacted the salon, left a voicemail, and no one returned my call. I waited until the next day and called again. I spoke with a woman who said she would tell the lady who did [redacted]s nails that I had called, and she would have her call me back. I never heard anything from the woman. I waited for a few days and called again. I told the woman that she had not called me. The lady assured me she had told her and would tell her again that I had called. I waited for about a week or so and called again. This time I left a message telling them how unprofessional I thought they had been and that I was going to contact you if I did not get a response within a few days. My daughter said that she did not clean her nails with anything, that she filed them and put the stuff on them. I don't know if that is why they came off. Someone should have definitely called me back and discussed options with me. I've owned my own business and that is no way to treat customers. I would never go to them again.Desired Settlement: I simply want my $25 returned. My daughter was unable to get her nails fixed before she went out of town.
