Sorry for the late replyWe take all claims very seriously and would like to first extended our sincere apologies for any inconviences that may have been caused using our serviceIt's to be noted, the scratch in question was made by a peice of furniture we didn't not move for the clientUpon
arriving to the customers home with the load that we did move for her, she added that she had a few pieces of furniture the delivery guys refused to bring into her home because it was under constructionShe then proceeded to instruct our moving crew to move these itemsShe was notified that we cannot take any liability for any damages made to the furniture or area the furniture was being placed placed in due to the conditions of the work environmentLots of clutter and construction debri...she demanded we proceeed, given the disclaimer and so we didwe are now being notified weeks later that damages were made?

Please review our standing here in this community as well our long standing positive presence in the moving industryFirst and foremost, while it is our utmost desire and mission to
satisfy each and every customer from start to finish, there were issues that arose that we cannot be blamed forMike scheduled a last minute move with us that many other companies denied to takeHe was moving on a rainy day, and his location that we had to drive to was approx hours outside of Columbus and out typical travel areaRegardless, we tried to help him get out of the hole he was in when other companies cancelled on him and failed to showWe showed up and moved himSo the claims of being late are unfoundedUpon arriving, as on all moves we ask the customer if they would like their items padded with moving pads and shrink wrapped This may seem like the standard order of business, however many times customers forgo the added wrapping and shrink wrap protection when they are moving short distances, if they are in a financial crunch and just can't afford to pay for the extra time it takes for us to wrap their items, or lastly if the items being transported are not worth the time, and costIt's not our property, so we don't decideMike denied our wrapping service and requested that we just "start loading the truck" we advised him that we wanted to wrap some of his more valuable items he looked at his faux marble table that was already clinging together with wood glue, then he turned to his partial board coffee table and once again have permission to "don't wrap it, just load it"NEEDLESS TO SAY, when we arrived to the new location everything mad it safely, as this is what we do for a living! Yes, there were scratches on some tables and nicks on other itemsWhat I found alarming is the pace at which Mike began claiming damages The very things he said he didn't care about at the pick up location, now became family heirloomsI was also stunned at the fact that he denied wrapping of his items then became so nit picky on the drop off, sad but almost staged rehearsed likeAt this point he has already been paid for his tv, we took $off his bill immediately after realizing what transpiredIn short, we agreed to pay for the replacement of his inch Sanyo tv, not the nicks and scratches half of which where all on his furniture prior to our arrivalHe was credited $on his moveAgain we are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you Mike and we wish you the best moving forward
