Make Your Own Jeans

I tried to set up a measurement profile at Make Your Own Jeans, but the measuring instructions thoroughly confused me. I reached out to customer service asking for explanations, and got a canned answer telling me to choose the style I wanted and place my order. I replied specifically spelling out each part of the instructions I found unclear and needed explained, and got another response telling me to complete my measurement profile. Zero acknowledgment of what I'd actually asked, let alone addressing of it. I tried again, same result.

They have no customer service phone number, just this email system that is apparently staffed by bots.

I bought a pair of jeans from them back in early March. Then the COVID pandemic hit. Their website went from working on backorders to now taking orders.

As of today (July 6, 2020) now about 4 months later, I still have not received my order.

The weird thing is that they are still taking orders...sound like either a scam now and they are just taking peoples money or they are probably going BK (how can they be planning to retain customers when they over 4 mos to complete an order?)!

Review: I bought custom made jeans from this company and its based out of india and NY. I had a tailor measure me and I got the jeans 3.5 weeks later, what I got is NOT what I ordered. The front and back rise is almost an inch shorter than I ordered, the knees are 4 inches bigger, the length is 1.25 inches longer, and they are NOT bootcut as ordered, they are baggy in legs. The stitching is bad on pockets, the stitching is not thick as ordered, the color showed a light blue, I got dark indigo, they are thin and cheap and NOT what I ordered. I emailed the company and paypal which is how I paid, makeyourownjeans.com took zero responsibility for this and blamed me. I paid 84.00 for these and cannot wear them. I want my money back asap. I even sent pictures for evidence as they asked and they still blamed me.Desired Settlement: I want a refund asap. I want no one else to suffer the scam I encountered with this company. I want this compant looked into for a scam. I have since gone online and found hundreds of people complaining about the same thing with no money back and a defective item.

Review: I placed an order with this company for clothing with some doubt, which I put aside after reviewing the company's custom fit guarantee and recieving an email from the seller, I placed an order for a shirt and ordered a set of swatches in anticipation of future orders with a company I believed to be consistant with what it claimed to be with regards to efforts it would make to correct sizing errors. When I recieved the shirt, I noticed it had a pocket, and the sides were way to big, and the collar was critically too tight. I wrote an email to [redacted], whose replies consistantly only addressed the pocket issue, ignoring all other matters even after I pointed this out. after only a few letters, the company has ceased communication altogether. it has not addressed my request to return the item, and has replied in such a manner as to completely avoid that matter altogether. I would like to return the entire order, as the shirt is not something I can wear and the swatches have become useless to me with this company as they are both unresponsive to my communication and to their own stated commitment to make issues with sizing resolved to the customer's satisfactionDesired Settlement: I am looking for a full refund of $115.00 for a recent purchase. Review: I paid 176$ for a leather jacket for my friend in September. It is now November and he still has not received the Jacket. I am starting to believe the bussiness took my money without delivering the product I had paid for.Desired Settlement: I would like to see the exact product I paid for arrive to my friend immediately, because he should have received the Jacket in October, but it is now November.If the product cannot be given, I would like a full refund.

After reading other reviews it seems that it is pointless to argue with the company because they wont give you anything to fix your complaint. I will never order from them again. Now to figure out what to do with a pair of expensive jeans that don't fit.
