Dear Ms***,I am writing in response to a letter I received dated Monday, April 11, regarding a service issue with a client I have discussed this situation with my stylist who is a manager and has years experience First Ms*** never contacted me- the owner about this
issue, so I has sincerely shocked when I opened this letter That being said, I have attached our policy page which clearly states if there is an issue to please let us know immediately and what we can do to help keep our guests satisfied. ***In speaking with my manager this is what I have been told in response to her claims.Ms*** asked for an ombre, she was told that the color she desired would not be possible in one treatment (she has very dark hair and requested it to be very light) She (the stylist) proceeded to to color her hair to a flattering caramel color, for what was requested As far as rushing the appointment, my stylists says that Ms*** was constantly texting with her boyfriend who was telling her to hurry up because he was hungry -At the end of the first appointment Ms*** was told she should condition her hair, this is standard procedure. Since she wanted it to be lighter, another appointment was made, so the stylist says she told Ms*** again, that she needed to condition her hair So to the second appointment, it is for other people to be scheduled around appointments with a processing time -- I was told at the end of the second appointment she was rude to the stylist, and that the other guest made a comment how she felt Ms*** was "trying to get something for nothing" Also her hair was washed and conditioned at each appointment,(standard procedure) and as for the claim that chemicals were still working in her hair is ridiculous We are a Paul Mitchell Signature Salon, using only the best products available The person she talked to elsewhere, may or may not be familiar with our products, and they would have no idea what we used -- Also, we do not know what that person suggested to her-- ie: Do we know it to be a good product for her hair? At this point, I/we have no idea what Ms*** may or may not have done to her hair In an effort to be in agreement we will refund her money for the first procedure,($70.00) and $ which is what we charge for our keratin/triplex deep conditioning treatment for a total of $ This money would be payable only to the Revdex.com for disbursement We thank you for your time and consideration in this matter Making Waves Hair Salon LLC*** *** ***

I am once again responding to the allegations made by the customer in their complaint to your office.  Contrary to what the customer believes, there is no admission of wrong doing on our behalf.  We have implemented policies and procedures to comply with the agencies that regulate our dealership, and are confident that we handle customers and their information appropriately.  We feel that this customer's claims lack foundation.As of right now, we do not feel that the these claims are valid and merit any resolution on our part.  Therefore, we will not be assisting the customer any further regarding their complaint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  It's so easy to just throw a couple of dollars.  I have been going to you guys since I was 14/15 years old and I've never had an issue. I did read the policy and before I left the salon I told her I hated it.  She has always been my stylist. I'm asking for $500 and if we can't resolve it in an easy manner I will take this to a higher authority.  My hair is everything and the fact that you don't want to pay for damages is sad because I have always been a client of yours and I have recommended people to your salon.  My hair is ruin I will have to cut it off years of letting my hair grow and protecting it.  Money was never an issue I would have paid over two hundred dollars for the style I wanted.  I asked for ombré and not even that was delivered.
