December 15, 2015In response to Bob M*** on behalf of the Revdex.com: First of all Bob my driveway where the garage was built does not turn in to concreteIt goes directly in to the yard in to the grass area where the garage you built in my back yardThe Garage Pad is to the far right and there is roughly feet between my garden fence area and my existing garage which is part of my home behind my houseTwenty five feet of area from the garden fence to the garage which is part of my home down the tar and chip driveway to my grass can accommodate any one of your trucksSo why did you have to cut the bend passed my existing garage that is part of my home and you Bob drove your Dump truck with your Bob Cat on a big trailer over my Drain Grate and broke it and then you cut the corner of my concrete pad and cracked the end off of the concrete pad. You could of kept your Truck, and Bob cat with Trailer between the Garden fence and my existing garage that is part of my home which is roughly feet which is plenty of room to get more than one big truck at the same time down toward the work site for the garage in my back yard. And Bob you never said anything about additional cost if I did not want heavy equipment pulled down my driveway. Everyday your crew and you worked on the garage, I went out after you left and inspected my concrete pad which is for my existing garages that is behind and part of my home. When the concrete truck came I check the concrete pad that day as well and the concrete pad was not broken. The next week after you Bob and your crew worked that I found my drain grate brokened and my concrete pad cracked on the corner. You told me that you would get me a new drain grate and you Bob M*** said you would install itBut you just dropped off the drain grate and left. I ask you also about the concrete pad that you broke the corner off and you just ignored me. And Bob why did you not tell me that you had a truck that leaks diesel fuel. Now my whole back concrete pad behind my home where the two garages are, that is part of my home is ruined. This is negligence on your partI know you tried to clean the the spots but they are still there and you said you would leave me some extra degreaser but you Bob did notI talked to a contractor, who does power washing, and he said that the diesel spills will not totally come out. The Man door to the new garage has a dent on the inside and I ask you Bob where you got the doorYou said quote: I think it was ***So I went to *** and they told me that they do not sell a door like this in primer colorThey sell doors in the color whiteSo Bob I am asking you again, where did you get this doorIt seems Bob you do not want to deal with my issues. To Whom It May Concern:This is written in response to the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] to the Revdex.com.Mr. [redacted] contracted my company M[redacted] Construction to build a two car garage at the end of his driveway towards the rear of his home. His driveway from the road was asphalt that towards the end turned into concrete. Before the written estimate was provided to Mr. [redacted] there were several conversations with him concerning what he wanted, and the costs associated so he could stay in his $30,000 allotted budget.Mr. [redacted] was informed he would incur additional labor costs if he chose "not” to have heavy equipment pull down his driveway which included a truck to carry block, a lumber truck, a concrete truck and a truss truck that contained any additional building materials along with a dump truck a trailer and a bobcat. Mr. [redacted] did not want to incur the additional labor charges and the other charges to use a pumper truck because he would have exceeded his $30,000 budget. Mr. [redacted] approved the estimate along with the use of his driveway. Mr. [redacted] understood the pros and cons of using his driveway before construction had started.Mr. [redacted] indicated a M[redacted] Construction truck cracked a corner of his concrete pad when in fact it was the concrete truck. We had spoke about it and I informed Mr. [redacted] he gave permission for the use of his driveway and I would not be responsible for any damages. I did not just drop it off and leave.Mr. [redacted] contacted me over the diesel stains on the driveway and the loose siding. As soon as I was aware of the issues I went and fixed the loose siding to his satisfaction. As far as the stains on the driveway, again he was well aware before he agreed to the estimate that issues like this could arise and he took full responsibility to any damages because he did not want the extra added labor expense of material having to be transported by hand the full length of his driveway.  I however tried to help by bringing over concrete degreaser and we scrubbed every spot. I informed Mr. [redacted] that if he wanted me to come back and power wash it that I would. I never heard from Mr. [redacted] again until I received his letter from the Revdex.com.
The man door Mr. [redacted] is claiming was damaged, he did not bring to my attention until several weeks after the completion of the garage and after I received final payment.  He had since signed off and was satisfied with our work. Because I was not made aware of it until much later on, there is no way for me to know if he damaged the door or if it was a manufacturing defect. I instructed Mr. [redacted] to contact [redacted] directly. I told him I would remove and install a new door if [redacted] provided him with a new one. Review: Mr. [redacted] bid for and agreed to complete a job at our home in August of 2013. We paid the $6,000 deposit and work commenced in September of 2013. The scope of the work to be completed includes but was not limited to replacing rotted cedar trim and stucco boards around the exterior of our tudor home, install vinyl siding on the back of the house and paint the exterior of the house. To this day, the work remains incomplete. Now, Mr. [redacted] is refusing to return to the job site and complete the work and threatening our credit with false claims on nonpayment. The final payment was due upon completion of the job and the job remains incomplete. To date, portions of the painting remain incomplete, there are still rotted boards that need to be replaced, the newly installed siding is separating (which the manufacturer states is a red flag) and finish work for the hardy plank on the front of the house remains incomplete. We have notified Mr. [redacted] of these outstanding items via certified mail with a written letter that included photos of the incomplete work and problem areas. We have not heard back from Mr. [redacted], nor has he made any attempts to complete the work or return our communications regarding the incomplete work.Desired Settlement: We would like to sever ties with Mr. [redacted] of Makowski Construction and bring in a third party, licensed/registered ontractor to complete the remaining work and to install the siding properly. We would like to use the funds not paid to Makowski Contruction (as the job remains incomplete) to pay the new contractor to complete job.

Review: Bob M[redacted] the Contractor built me a garage behind my house.

In the beginning him and his crew first started construction on my garage and his diesel truck dripped diesel fuel spots all over my cement pad behind my home. I ask him immediately when I came home from work to clean it up, but he did not clean the diesel spills at that time. I reminded him more times but he waited after the garage was completed and then he attempted to clean the diesel spots and also said he would give me some extra cleaner for the diesel spots if they did not come out. Well he did not give me extra cleaner for the diesel spots. He said in time the diesel spots on the concrete pad would go away but they are still there. I decided to get a professional that cleans and restores concrete to look at the concrete pad behind my house. He told me that the diesel fuel will not completely come out of the concrete and the only thing I can do is have someone apply an Acrylic coating over all the concrete to make the concrete look the same before Bob M[redacted] truck leaked diesel fuel.

He also broke a corner of my concrete pad with his heavy trailer and dump truck that transported his bobcat. If he would have stayed on the Tar and Chip Driveway that goes from my road, [redacted], down my tar and chip driveway to the Garage he built, this breakage would have never occurred. Also if he would have kept his heavy trailer and dump truck that he had his bobcat on the Tar and Chip Driveway he would have not broken my Drain Grate which is located far enough away for him to go passed it. There is plenty of room to the left in the grass area and the Tar and Chip Driveway for him to access the garage work area He told me he would bring a new drain grate and install it but when he came to fix the vinyl siding on the front of the garage that was loose, he just dropped the drain grate off and did not install it.

The man door to the Garage has a big crease in and I spoke to him about it. I ask him where he purchased the door and he told me that he does not know. He then said a comment that he thinks it was [redacted]. I told him that it looks like a defective door damaged in shipping and he did not want to do anything about getting me a replacement door under warranty.

It seems that Bob M[redacted] has no interest in doing what is right as me being the Customer who paid for the complete job for the garage that he built for me.

Sincerely [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like Bob M[redacted] to pay another contractor to replace the concrete pad that he broke, to pay for another contractor to apply an Acrylic overlay to fix all the diesel spills on my concrete pad while he was building my garage and to replace the defective Man Door that he installed which should be under warranty that he states he does not know where he purchased the Man Door for my new Garage. Also to pay for someone to install the Drain Grate he broke and he only dropped off the drain grate that he said he was going to install.
