I hired Storm Stoppers to reshingle my roof because of the Revdex.com and Angie List reviews. Do not let that fool you. They are disorganized, not true to their word, and pretty much no business sense.
First when they tell you they will take care of something, the response is always, will do this tomorrow. Tomorrow is at least 10 days later. It was 10 days after saying my roof would be fixed that they came to fix it.
Second, the works broke my window while throwing things off my roof, on September 12, 2017. I was told Tomorrow we will get a pane of glass to fix it. Two weeks later, still with a broken window, I contact Storm Stoppers. Unfortunately do to the window they have had to contact a glass company to fix it, and the glass company had to order the piece of glass. But I was told it had been paid for. I question that no one has ever come out to my houses to look or measure. I have a locked gate that has to be entered to get to this window, and I am the one who has to unlock it. Two weeks later still with a broken window, I contact Storm Stoppers again. They assure me they have taken care of this, and it is on the glass company. I ask which glass company. Call the glass company, who still has never arrived at my house. The glass company assures me Storm Stoppers has contacted them once, but they told Storm Stoppers this job was too little for them. The glass company has never given an estimate nor received money. Contact Storm Stoppers to get their side. They assure me there is some misunderstanding. They are sure they have paid, despite me telling them they have never been to my house before. Storm Stoppers stops answering my calls when I call the office, yes, they have caller ID. The week of Thansgiving, 11 weeks after my window being broken, I call, no answer so I leave a not so nice message informing them I want a receipt proving they paid for the window or I file a complaint with the Revdex.com. I received a phone the next morning that they were driving to the glass company to pay that very day. Finally the week before Christmas, 15 weeks after breaking my window, and lots of time I had to fight for my window to be fixed, my window was fixed. Storm Stoppers wasted no time as it was the end of the year to demand the rest of my money. I never received a final bill. I was told my the person you came to get the check to just get the remainder from the estimate. I verified with the Storm Stopper representative that I had paid the right amount. But moments after leaving I realize that there were $200 of upgrades that were listed at the bottom. I called to mention this and they returned to my house within 5 minutes to get the other check. Never did they verify if I needed to pay that. They just came and got it. I called the company to make sure the bill was paid in full ( no discount was ever given at all) . They verbally verified I had and assured me within the week I would have my paid in full notice in the mail. As of January 30, I have not received anything in the mail. They do not have their stuff together. They do not do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it. They obviously lie. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY,
