I pulled up the proofs of [redacted]'s daughter. The image has NO mistake in editing. The image does NOT look like there is a mask on her daughter. The image is edited just as it should have been, and is exactly like the original image (with no editing) that is straight out of my camera. The only difference in the original image and the edited image is the brightness and sharpness. My website shows no inquiries from [redacted], ever. My website sends the person who makes an inquiry a confirmation email and [redacted] has yet to provide those screenshots, so I do not believe her. The dance studio stands by me on this and agrees that the picture is presentable and looks good and acknowledges receipt of the emails that I have sent her (and copied them). I will give [redacted] the original, unedited picture of her daughter in file and printed form. However, I will not give [redacted] a refund. She is using the image publicly (on her facebook). You cannot get a refund on something that you are using and have downloaded. If the issue is with the editing of the image, which she says it is, then an unedited version should satisfy her. The two studio dance owners have offered to speak on my behalf, if needed, regarding this issue. There is no "mask" on the image. I have attached what the original looks like, next to the edited image (that [redacted] received). If the client sees a "mask" or something on her face, it is something that was already there, nothing of my doing. Attached are the edited and unedited images.  I think her daughter looks beautiful in both images and cannot understand what the issue is. I also don't know why she would not write back when I nicely asked her what the issue was. Instead, she ignored me and came here. Please review the attachements. If [redacted] is satisfied with receiving the UN-EDITED version of the picture, I will mail the prints to her and email the digital file. Thank you, [redacted]

I am writing to dispute the complaint. I was completely shocked to see a complaint from this person. She mentions that she tried to contact me three times and that I ignored her. This is just simply untrue. The first email that I ever got from her was May 11th. In that email (copied to both the...

dance studio and myself) she says that she has sent two other emails that I did not reply to. I had never seen anything from her. I searched her name and her email address in my gmail account (in all folders, including spam and trash) and there is nothing from her. The dance studio also only received the ONE email from her. 5 minutes after receiving her first email, I wrote her back. I will attach copies of both of those emails here. [redacted] states that she is unhappy with the quality of her image and she demands a refund or a reshoot. If I make an error, I have absolutely no problem fixing it, and in all cases, I DO fix it and make it right. In this case, I was confused by what she said. She said the image was not good quality and that it looked "photoshopped". Photoshop is an editing software that professionals use to edit their images. Yes, photoshop was used on hers and the other 200+ photos I edited for this dance company. However, the quality of the image is great- the focus is sharp, the lighting is true, the colors are vibrant, and the composition is where it should be. I apologized that she was not happy with the image and I asked her what exactly she does not like about it. I also copied the dance studio on this email and they have confirmed receipt of the email. [redacted] never emailed me prior to this email, she never called, sent a message, and she never even told the dance studio (where her daughter goes and where she picked the images up from) that she was not happy with the pictures. At this point, I went to her Facebook and saw that she is using the picture that I took of her daughter as her public cover photo (also attaching a screenshot of that). If the quality is so poor and she hates the image so much, why is she publicly using it on her Facebook and demanding a refund from me? That makes no sense. I never heard back from her after my email on the 11th. I was blindsided when I received the Revdex.com email today with her complaint, since I did write her back and she is lying about the number of emails she supposedly sent me. I also asked her to forward those emails and she ignored that request as well. I am my own business. I do not have employees. I am local and my business thrives off word of mouth. I have never had a complaint like this, or any really at all. The few times that a client has had an issue, they have come to me- we have handled it and we have moved on and they have stayed my clients. I feel like I am being taken advantage of here, she is lying, and slandering my business when I have done nothing wrong. I have not ignored her, I have written her back, asked for clarification. Etc. Copies of emails and her Facebook attached (my image that she used in her cover photo she also applied some editing filter over). Thank you for hearing my side of this story and please consider removing this complaint, as it is untrue and hurtful to my business. Thank you so much![redacted]Also, I have never lived at the address that you have listed for me. I do not know anybody at that address and have never done business or lived on [redacted] street.
