Malugin Heating & Cooling

We have used this company several times and have never had a problem.Whenever I call him he's always returned my call.We are using him right now to fix a problem with our heating that another company put in but wont come out to fix the problem.Keep up the good work [redacted] and thanks

I am a home builder who really cares about our customers I made the mistake of hiring Malugin Heating and Cooling He talked a decent game but that is it He used cheap or non compatible parts in his installations which have cost us and more importantly our customers many problemsTime and time again he has refused to come back to do warranty on systems he installed Usually he will not respond then we have to call and call to get him to even acknowledge receipt of a work order, then he will usually not show up for the scheduled appointment which is a waste of everybody's time and then your lucky to get him on the phone again I have had to educate him over and over on his warranty obligations only for him to make an unreasonable argument on how the system is out of warranty which if it was we would not call him in the first place We have had to have our current HVAC contractor go behind him and fix almost every job he did for us at our expense while creating additional inconvenience to our home owners I have had multiple arguments with this guy over the last year trying to get him to do the right thing only to have him tell me "he is the best hvac contractor around and nobody has ever had a complaint with his work before" fact is he is never on the job he just sends guys, he is hard to reach, and he refuses (as I have in writing from him) over and over again to service his warranty The fact of the matter is IF he did good work there would be very little need for him to service his warranty but he never wants to speak about that I would advise anybody to stay away

Unfortunately my builder used Malugin to install our heat/ac for our brand new homeWhen we purchased the home in October of we did not realize that there would be an issueBy the Spring on 2011, however it became apparent that our unit could not cool our homeAfter numerous calls and numerous complaints, Malugin did come out to the home but was unable to correct the issueHe came up with all sorts of reasons why it didn't cool the homeit is unusually warm this year for Tennessee, the sun is beating down on the thermostat, put mini blinds in all your windows, etcDue to illness I finally gave up for a while until the following Spring when the same issue arisedOnce again I called and was promised that he would come back outIn frustration I had another a/c company come out and take a lookHe was referred to me by my home warranty company and he immediately told me the issue was that our unit was entirely too small for our homeAfter further research we also came up with the same conclusionWe went out and looked at exact replicas of our home in our area and took note of the size of their units...double the size!!!!! I then called Muligan and he said that was not the issue but yet he never came back to our home and we haven't heard from him sinceI am now looking at replacing the entire system after spending spring/summers in miseryTrying to live and work in a home that averages about degrees during spring and summer months is unbearableMy suggestion now to anyone who is buying a home even it is a new build is to research ac units and make sure it is large enough for their living space

We recently lost heat in our new home. We called the numbers that was left behind for us to call in case of an emergency. Those numbers were no longer valid so, we emailed the builders of the home and they gave us the contact number of this (Malugin) company. Due to the timing of the instillation for the HVAC (2014) the warranty was no longer valid. We spoke with the owner of the company and explained how the heat would work sometimes and how we have very young children sleeping in low degrees come morning time. With time passing, our builders sent someone other than Malugin to fix our heat after going weeks with it working off and on. The gentleman spent a few hours and identified a part that went bad over the years. That very same day our daughter had to be rushed to the hospital because she came down with pneumonia due to the heating situation in our home. We had to leave the HVAC repair man at the house while we were off to the hospital. I returned from the hospital in 1 and a half hours and he was gone. He said he needed to order the part because there were none locally. Well 9 days went by and we heard nothing else about our heat until we called the builders once again. Malugin stayed in touch with us and our current situation the whole time. With the HVAC being out of its 1 year warranty (2014-2015) the company sent someone over regardless. They were more concerned about my family than making a buck. At no charge to us the repair guy retrieved the same part locally on the same day ( The prior repair guy took 9+ days and we never heard from him again). With the new part being installed and the heat operating to keep the house warm Malugin called and checked on the status of my family and the heat. I told him we have heat but we were still having some issues. These guys are so awesome. They came back out to the house and took care of us. I can honestly say this company went above and beyond what was expected. They made me feel comfortable about the situation.They were polite, courteous, respectful and sincere ( also, knew what they were doing). Thanks Malugin. I will be recommending the company to everyone I run across with Hvac issues.
