Mama Mia's Restaurant

My wife placed an order that they said would take 40 minutes. After she arived 40 minutes later, she had to wait an additional 15 for the order. When she got home, we were missing an entree. I called store and asked for a manager. I got transferred to a server. I asked the server for a manager. He said they were busy. I had to beg and raise my voice to please talk to a manager. Finally one came on. I explained the issue. She said that she was busy and things take longer. I then told her it was my meal missing. She refunded my card. She said that it would have been nice if the manager would have apologized. The manager said she wasn't apologizing since I,cursed out her wait staff. I said,I raised my voice but never cursed anyone out or even said a curse word. The manager manager said she didn't believe me.

This review is regarding the Mama Mia's on Greenfield. I placed a corporate order for next day delivery, had it confirmed by restaurant staff but on delivery day it didn't show up and the corporate event which was to be a celebration was tainted. Delivery was set for 11:30am and at 11:45am the restaurant was called and they confirmed that delivery should arrive momentarily. 25 minutes later, it still had not arrived and when I called the restaurant there was a recording saying that they were not taking calls. Despite numerous attempts, it was an hour and 10 minutes past the delivery time that I was finally able to contact someone in the restaurant who informed me that the order had been placed for the wrong day. At this point, I requested to speak to the employee's manager. ** who identified himself as the manager and the owner's son, got on the line and in response to my frustation and anger about how this service played out, went on a rant of his own about how there were only 2 of them there, and they had orders going out and the buffet, and he was "[redacted] off too" but there was nothing he could do about it. He was angry with me for taking him away from his task by asking to speak to the manager. My whole reason for doing so was that the employee had been the one who confirmed that the order was on its way and told me an hour later that it had never been made. [redacted] was not apologetic or looking to make amends in any way. His entire demeanor spoke of poor, pity me and if we screwed up, well that's tough - we have other customers. Up until this point, I loved Mama Mia's and my entire staff was looking forward to lunch. Now I would caution any business to think twice prior to ordering catering from this business. Beyond that, any consumer should think twice before patronizing a restaurant that puts so little emphasis on customer service and courtesy.
