1.You may refer to my original response.  2.Should you need to continue your campaign against my business you are entitled to go to a civil court, and I would happily defend my position in a small claims court.  I believe you can file a claim for as little as $15.  We then can let a judge decide who they believe. I cannot return money on a product that was 3/4 consumed, and a portion of it not returned as well (ranch cups).  I also would like to ask you in front of a judge a couple of questions in reference to your claims about the condition of the product. 1. Why you would order a product that is supposed to have a high salt content (the little nick salad) and then claim it too salty?  2.  What is the appropriate amount of food that should be consumed before a return is valid.  I would like a judge to give us guidance on that.  I think if you consume 3/4 of the pizza that is too much for a return.  But again,  I welcome this to be adjudicated. I believe my position to be clear. Thank you for letting me respond.  This is my last response.  Sincerely,  Jim Flanagan

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] is lying. If you look at other responses on [redacted], there are similar complaints. The pizza joint was closing early due to lack of business so, the woman at the front counter told me to bring in the product the next day. There were no olives on my salad. The croutons were burnt. I threw them out along with the horrible ranch dressing. It wasn't until my step-son's and husband said that they could not stomach the pizza, which only 4 little squares out of 18 were gone, that's when t I called and complained. I live 13 mins away from Mamma Celeste's. I got plates, silverware and napkins out and we were ready to graze. The last time that I complained about a salad was in Texas 6 years ago. The products were absolutely terrible and I was cussed at! I was called a "[redacted] Liar with no morals!" Not professional. I have managed some of the top restaurants in ** and was nominated the best bartender in the [redacted] in [redacted]! I have the highest sales ever recorded by [redacted] in [redacted] for the best cocktail waitress. I am very disciplined in the Food Industry and I know what is right and what is wrong and what Mamma Celeste's is doing is against regulation. I have even got accepted into [redacted]! I have the voice recordings of him belittling me and vocally harassing me. I asked him to remake the product or offer something in return, instead, he said he'd only help out people with morals and because I had no morals he would not return my money and to never come to his place of business again. I work for the [redacted] and I have never been so disrespected by a horrible pizza joint that has so little business that they can't release $30+ to an unhappy customer to prevent the bad word of mouth from spreading. My salad was almost full and there was 4 pieces missing from the pizza. I cooked dinner that night for my family! I'm 105 pounds, if we ate like pigs over here, we'd all be obese! Who eats 18 slices of pizza and a salad and still makes a 3 course meal? If you want my recordings I will send them to you! If I don't get anywhere with this and get our money back...at this point it's principal....I will place harassment charges on [redacted]. I was cussed at, belittled and disrespected because my family didn't like his food. The woman at the desk told me to just bring in the rest of the products that weren't touched for a full refund. Nonetheless, the customer is always right! In this sense, the customer was disrespected and belittled..

I am rejecting this response because:I have the recordings of the girl who was working the register that night stating to return the products for a full refund. My husband, [redacted], and I, [redacted], called within 15 minutes after picking up the products. There is no way that 11 slices of pizza were gone in that short period of time. My 7 year old son, [redacted], looked at the pizza and said I don't like it. And I told him to try it. He took a bite of [redacted]'s and refused to eat it. [redacted], my 10 year old, took a slice and asked if he had to eat it because he did not like it. I don't eat pizza, I only eat the crust. I tried the crust and I couldn't eat it. The crust was burnt. I was picking at my salad because I was starving and I couldn't take it anymore. My 21 year old and daughter-in-law took a slice and no-one could eat the pizza. I returned the pizza because of it's horrible taste and the crust was burnt and hard as a rock. The sauce was bland and horrible. My salad was salty. I have salads with pepperoncinis, olives and everything else all of the time and I never complain that my salad is too salty. The owner has changed his story in these rebuttals twice now. He is overly offended because we do not like his food. His staff never offered to remake the food for us! That is a complete fabrication!!! He never offered to give us store credit or to remake the products to our satisfaction. Instead he belittled me and barred me from his pizza joint. And why does he want the ranch dressing back? I dipped my cucumbers in there while I was forcing myself to try to eat the salad that was returned almost full and he knows it. If I didn't eat some of the food, I wouldn't have known that it was salty. Was he going to recycle my left over ranch dressing? The owner knows dang well that there were no more than 5 slices at most out of that pizza box. Please let me know how I can send you the voice recordings of his staff telling me to return the products for a full refund, [redacted] leaving a nasty voicemail on my phone and then his belittling phone conversation to me where nothing was ever offered to be remade or any solution was compromised. [redacted] is trying to make my family and I sound like liars that are so desperate for money and food that we prance around Chico ordering food and returning it when we are stuffed. I work for the Government and I will not be treated like a desperate poor welfare family. This is very unprofessional! We returned the product and we'd appreciate our money back! And if my family ate as much as [redacted] is suggesting, then why did I still have to cook dinner for my family? There isn't one chubby person in this household and we don't eat a buffet at the dinner table every-night! The owner is out of line with his fabri[redacted]ions and the way that he talks to his customers. I understand that he does not bring in much business and our $35.00 must seem like a great deal of fortune but, it's our money and we want it back!

Response:I will respond as brief as I can. She did return the product. At my request, as she wished for her money back after only a half hour to forty five minutes after leaving the store, this was at the end of the night. The return was the next day. I always return all customers money if they do...

not like the product. I do not return money if they eat 3/4 of a entire custom pizza, and then claim falsely that the product was prepared incorrectly. Meaning Burnt as she claims. I would happily give any customer their money back if they do not like the product on taste, and they eat a small portion of the food and decide they do not enjoy it. Only that is not what this person did. This person ordered a custom large 14inch 16 piece pizza and a signature Salad. Plus 2 extra Ranch's. Of the pizza, 11 pieces were consumed. The Little Nick Salad that the person ordered does not come with croutons (which we make in house) the person added the Croutons,(which are extra) and asked for Cucumbers.(which are extra as well) She ate both of the extra items on the Salad, and strangely enough, the salad she claims was way to salty, in fact has Black Olives (which are in brine), Pepperoncinis (that are vinegar based) and also Kalamata Olives (also in Brine, but again, strangely the Kalamata Olives were eaten as the third and only other topping eaten on the salad). Lastly, the 2 extra 4 Oz Ranch Cups that were ordered were not returned as well. That may not seem like much, but we make our ranch from scratch in house, and people come into our shop to buy just our Ranch Cups. So suffice to say, I could not return the customers money due to the product being almost totally consumed and falsehoods as to the condition of the product. It was a perfectly cooked unburnt pizza. I would make it again 1000 times over. Thank You for letting me respond[redacted] [redacted]

Review: I am writing in regards to a horrible experience that I had with Mamma Celeste’s Stone Baked Pizzeria located on [redacted]. I love to cook but, on this particular day, 1/3/16, I decided to switch things up and order pizza from a different than usual. I was also too tired to cook. So, Mamma Celeste’s looked like a nice place an different. It was different alright! It was the worst pizza that my family and I ever had! The sauce was disgusting, the crust was burnt and the overall flavor was nauseating! I had ordered a side salad as well and it was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. The salad dressing was very bland and the homemade croutons were burnt to a crisp. I called and complained and they told me to bring back the products to get a full refund which was $35.00. I was happy to hear that so, I ended up making dinner anyways. I brought the products in on 1/4/16 and the waitress told me that [redacted], the owner wanted to speak to me first. I asked why and she didn’t know. So, I returned the products and called [redacted] on his cell phone and he texted me shortly after explaining to me that he wanted to investigate the food first. I told him that he had the full products at his Pizzeria and I expect my money returned. I heard back from [redacted] on 1/5/16 where he left a nasty message on my phone telling me that I am a liar and he’s got morals and doesn’t return money back to customers that lie. He claimed that I lied about the crust being burnt and there was nothing wrong with the pizza and most of the pizza and salad were gone. That is a lie! 4 pieces of the pizza were gone and their pizza has 16 squares cut in it. 4 were missing. I are only the cucumbers off of my salad because it tasted like someone dumped salt all over it and I can’t have salty things because of my heart condition hence, my husband and kids got the pizza and I got a salad. I called [redacted] back (I have the recorded conversation on my phone) where he called me a “Fking Liar!” not just a liar but a Fking Liar!!!” and told me how I have no morals and he’d have no problem refunding my money back in full if I’d just be straight with him and tell him why I really returned the food but, since I can’t be honest and he was raised with morals and obviously I wasn’t raised with respect growing up, I will never see a dime back from him and I am banned from his pizzeria cause he don’t need “Fking Liars with no morals” in his pizzeria. [redacted] belittled me and kept my food. I would have rather him give me back the food so I could at least feed my homeless people but, he kept my products and my money. It was honestly the worst food that I have ever had. My husband is a garbage disposal and he couldn’t eat it. My 7 year old took one bite and threw it down, my 10 year old begged for me to cook anything, that he didn’t care he’d eat cereal but, please don’t make him eat that. My 21 year old decided to go out to eat with his girlfriend and my husband couldn’t eat his favorite food. He loves pizza! We are completely baffled by the way [redacted] has spoken to me especially, when I have never even met him. I can’t believe that he took our products and our money and belittled me and attacked my character. He never offered to remake our food or make us something that we’d be satisfied with. He just criticized me. I have it recorded along with his voicemail.Desired Settlement: Apparently, I’m not the only customer he has done this to. There are reviews all over the internet on him. I would appreciate it if you could find some way to resolve this situation for me. I’d like to get my $35.00 back and an apology.

Thank you so much,

Business
