To Whom It May Concern, My name is [redacted], and I am the merchant replying to complaint #[redacted]. For this customer's orders, we made a pricing mistake, which is the reason why this customer was able to purchase the merchandise for far less than the correct price, and far less than...

dealer cost. If we were to honor this customer's orders, we would lose about $600, and we're just not in a position to be able to do that. Furthermore the manufacturer has a Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policy which prevents us from advertising it below a certain price. We're sorry to disappoint this customer. The customer was refunded in full. We have since corrected our mistake. We are considering this matter closed and will not be taking any further action on it.

Review: On September 24, 2014 I placed an order with Man Cave Kingdom ([redacted]) for a [redacted] 3-Shade Glass Lamp, advertised price $219.95. I received a discount coupon for signing up with his website of 10%, $22.00 off. After a shipping fee of $46.49 my total was $244.44. I received an order confirmation through email. Then on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, 7 days after the original order, I received an email from Mr. [redacted], founder of Man Cave Kingdom ([redacted]) claiming, again, that he "made a mistake in pricing" when he added the item to his catalog and that the real price was $849.95, a $630.00 mistake! That is not the price advertised when I purchased the item. That is his mistake for not making sure his prices were correct. This is complaint 2 of 2 that I have made today on Mr. [redacted]. He has cancelled 2 orders of mine after sending me order confirmations and decided to increase dramatically the price of the desired items. I also have the paperwork for this claim.Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. [redacted] to honor the original price and agreement he made with me and deliver my product to me at the agreed upon price of $244.44. A business owner cannot advertise an item at a certain price and then decide to charge more after a person has purchased the item. That is not fair to the consumer. I know that probably not much will come of this, but I cannot let this issue go. Thank you for taking the time to review my problem.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].
