[None of the information provided by the contractor is accurate There was never a discussion regarding a $7,contract or anything about the previous contractor A family emergency resulted in the previous contractor failing to complete the job, and all funds for work not completed was immediately returned Payment for this contract was never an issue nor was that ever implied The only work Man Of All Trades completed, during the approximate FOUR HOURS they were at my residence, was completing the Tear Out which was 45% completed by the previous contractor Man Of All Trades alleges to have conducted a mode remediation procedure, but, based on a review by multiple Mode Remediation companies, that job was NOT completed Basic mode remediation procedures were either completely missed intentionally or missed due to a lack of adequate training Those basic items missed or ignored were failing to change the furnace filter, wiping down all visible ducts and vacuuming all vents throughout the residence prior to spraying any mode remediation material There was little to no evidenced of any mode remediation material Man Of All Trades claims to have sprayed throughout the basement Regarding the material purchase, Man Of All Trades agreed to purchase ALL MATERIALS to complete the job including all paint and painting materials Man Of All Trades advised me that he was in the process of remodeling his personal residence when hired to complete my basement Prior to contacting Man Of All Trades, I secured several estimates from flooring companies regarding the basement floor Each of those estimates, including my personal measurement, indicated that the floor is approximately square feet When I asked Man Of All Trades for an estimate of how much flooring material was needed to complete the floor, I was told I needed square feet That is over square feet more material than was used by [redacted] to complete the basement floor When it became obvious that Man Of All Trades was attempting to convince me to purchase additional material for him to complete his personal home, the flooring job was canceled Also, prior to contacting Man Of All Trades, several estimates were solicited and received by multiple contractors Each of those contractors estimated that it would take approximately sheets of drywall to complete the repair of the basement walls When purchasing materials, Man Of All Trades wanted me to purchase a contractor bale of sheets of drywall in addition to drywall mud, screws and tape for that amount of drywall All basement walls were completed with sheets of drywall, mud, screws and tape This was not discovered until after I contacted [redacted] and inquired about the amount of material Man Of All Trades was attempting to compel me to purchase sight unseen Man Of All Trades impatience regarding the purchasing of the paint was a red flag which left me very skeptical Canceling of the contract for not purchasing the materials in multiple transactions was never discussed or even implied The reality was that MrS [redacted] was scheduled to go on a cruise with his wife, and wanted to complete the job and secure the entire payment prior to going it was with reluctance that I surrendered the deposit of $1, But because Adriane is family, I felt confident that Man Of All Trades would complete the contract Obviously, I was wrong Man Of All Trades did nothing more than a FOUR HOUR tear out job, and is attempting to justify a $1,payment for a $job at best I have even offered to pay $for the $job, and am requesting a reimbursement of $ Regards, [redacted]

Once again, my attempts to address this issue has been met with lie after lie. This is the text in it's entirety. As the text clearly indicates, Man of All Trades failed to comply with what he himself stated.TEXT:Ty, I hate the way this flooring looks and the price. Please give me a price without the flooring. I think I'm going to go to some flooring stores and get an estimate prior to making a decision. Thanks *** *** ***You want me to take the flooring off the estimate? Yes sir*** ** *** *** It would take about $off The estimate That baseboards and flooringLet's talk at the house this evening*** ** *** *** Ok bring the paint home with you also I'll pick up the drywall , mud, tape, insulation and you can pay me back this evening END OF TEXTThere was never a meeting that evening, and, as clearly indicated in the previous documentation, Ty never picked up the drywall, mud, tape or installation. Instead he went to ***, gathered an excessive amount of materials, and contacted me requesting my credit card information. When I refused to give him my credit card information without the paint and materials being included with the order, he immediately refused to complete the job. Prior to him refusing to complete the job, I provided the paint details including stock and item number from the very *** he was standing in at the time. All he needed to do was give the information to the ***' sales person who would have assisted him with gathering the materials. His excuse for not doing that was he "was holding up the line at the checkout."The *** sales person said he could simply step aside until all the material was gathered. Holding up the line was never an issue. The reality was that Man of All Trades was attempting to get me to purchase an excessive amount of materials. When I did not immediately cmply with his request, he became frustrated and refused to complete the job.Man of All Trades is a deceitful, corrupt business without any credibility. All they did was steal $1,from me for a tear out job that took less then four hours. I have attempted to resolve this issue in more than a reasonable manner. Obviously, this is not going to be addressed without filing expensive litigation procedures as my attorney has been urging me to do from the beginning. If Man of All Trades refuses to address this issue following this response, I will allow my attorney to file for judicial litigation. Thank you
Regards,

This is Mr. [redacted]s initial complaint that I will be providing proof that Mr. [redacted]s accusations are unfound. Mr. [redacted]s allegations that I responded to are highlighted, followed by my highlighted response (labeled Contractors Reply )or an uploaded document. All of the alleged allegation and replies are color coated separately by the different colors of the highlighters . example if the alleged allegation is highlighted in yellow than the contractor reply will be in yellow as well etc….

[None of the information provided by the contractor is accurate.  There was never a discussion regarding a $7,000.00 contract or anything about the previous contractor.  A family emergency resulted in the previous contractor failing to complete the job, and all funds for work not completed was immediately returned.  Payment for this contract was never an issue nor was that ever implied.  The only work Man Of All Trades completed, during the approximate FOUR HOURS they were at my residence, was completing the Tear Out which was 45% completed by the previous contractor.  Man Of All Trades alleges to have conducted a mode remediation procedure, but, based on a review by multiple Mode Remediation companies, that job was NOT completed.  Basic mode remediation procedures were either completely missed intentionally or missed due to a lack of adequate training.  Those basic items missed or ignored were failing to change the furnace filter, wiping down all visible ducts and vacuuming all vents throughout the residence prior to spraying any mode remediation material.  There was little to no evidenced of any mode remediation material Man Of All Trades claims to have sprayed throughout the basement.  Regarding the material purchase, Man Of All Trades agreed to purchase ALL MATERIALS to complete the job including all paint and painting materials.  Man Of All Trades advised me that he was in the process of remodeling his personal residence when hired to complete my basement.  Prior to contacting Man Of All Trades, I secured several estimates from flooring companies regarding the basement floor.  Each of those estimates, including my personal measurement, indicated that the floor is approximately 625 square feet.  When I asked Man Of All Trades for an estimate of how much flooring material was needed to complete the floor, I was told I needed 850 square feet.  That is over 225 square feet more material than was used by [redacted] to complete the basement floor.  When it became obvious that Man Of All Trades was attempting to convince me to purchase additional material for him to complete his personal home, the flooring job was canceled.  Also, prior to contacting Man Of All Trades, several estimates were solicited and received by multiple contractors.  Each of those contractors estimated that it would take approximately 25 sheets of drywall to complete the repair of the basement walls.  When purchasing materials, Man Of All Trades wanted me to purchase a contractor bale of 50 sheets of drywall in addition to drywall mud, screws and tape for that amount of drywall.  All basement walls were completed with 23.5 sheets of drywall, mud, screws and tape.  This was not discovered until after I contacted [redacted] and inquired about the amount of material Man Of All Trades was attempting to compel me to purchase sight unseen.  Man Of All Trades impatience regarding the purchasing of the paint was a red flag which left me very skeptical.  Canceling of the contract for not purchasing the materials in multiple transactions was never discussed or even implied.  The reality was that Mr. S[redacted] was scheduled to go on a cruise with his wife, and wanted to complete the job and secure the entire payment prior to going.  it was with reluctance that I surrendered the deposit of $1,950.00.  But because Adriane is family, I felt confident that Man Of All Trades would complete the contract.  Obviously, I was wrong.  Man Of All Trades did nothing more than a FOUR HOUR tear out job, and is attempting to justify a $1,950.00 payment for a $600.00 job at best.  I have even offered to pay $700.00 for the $600.00 job, and am requesting a reimbursement of $1.250.00.

Thank you for taking time to express your concerns. I have completed a full re-view of your complaint.I met Mr. [redacted] through one of my employees Adrian D[redacted] who is related to client. He reached out to Adrian stating that he’d like to have Adrian complete the job for due to the last...

contractor that he hired starting but not returning to complete the job. Adrian expressed his concern that his relative would like to have the job completed, so at that time I went out and gave an estimate. The quote I gave was at $7,000.00 and at that time Mr. [redacted] advised that he only had the remaining amount of $3900.00 from the insurance claim filed due to the previous contractor running off with payment. At that time I decided to cut my estimate down to $3900.00 to help the client out.Day 1 while working at [redacted], we completed the removal of the dry-wall, carpet, padding, tack strips, baseboards, insulation and Microbial (Mold) Re-mediation. Upon completion of services on the 1st day I advised Mr. [redacted] that all materials will be picked up the following morning and I advised that I would call him once it was time to make payment for the purchase of the materials, at that time Mr. [redacted] asked me what time will I be arriving everyday and I stated that we would be there no later than 8 a.m. start time for the remaining days of the project at that time he advised that wasn’t possible because he had to go back to work so we would not be able to enter the premises until 5:00 p.m. once his son could let us in, at that time I stated that we don’t start work that late, at we would need to have access to the property daily no later than 8 a.m. Mr. [redacted] advised me that it wasn’t possible because his wife would kill him if he left people in the house and they weren’t home. I talked to my employees and we agreed to complete the job working evening hours more so as a favor for Adrian. The next morning the client reached out to me to let me know that he wanted to take the flooring installation off the list so I agreed to take $800.00 of the project but Mr. [redacted] didn’t feel that was enough he said he needed me to take $1500.00 off the estimate because he found a company that if he brought the flooring from them they would include the installation for that amount and when I didn’t agree to that amount Mr. [redacted] became irate. This conversation we were having about the flooring was taking place at [redacted] over the phone so I told him let’s talk once I get your materials and get to the house. After gathering all the needed materials I called Mr. [redacted] to make the pay-ment for his materials, at that time I gave the phone to customer service and Mr. [redacted] asked the customer service rep to give him a detailed description of what was all on the carts to be purchased and the rep named a few of the items and then stated that it was just too much stuff to itemize it all and that he should just review his receipt. Mr. [redacted] then continued on to ask was there any paint on the cart and I told Mr. [redacted] that it was not and reminded him that we agreed that he was to pick out his own paint because he hadn’t chosen a color that he wanted to go with, at that time he stated that he had found a color, I told him that if he texted me the color I would go back to the paint department and have it prepared and for him to go ahead and pay for the other materials so that my 3 employees that are on the clock could go ahead and load the trucks and head to his house to begin unloading while I get the paint , Mr. [redacted] then said that he wants to pay for everything at the same time , I then told Mr. McMilli-an that we are holding up the line and that my guys are on the clock and that after giving him a $3,100.00 break I can’t afford to have my guys just standing around and he replied that’s not his problem and that he wasn’t paying until I got the paint. I then stated to Mr. [redacted] that I think its best that we stick to our origi-nal agreement of him purchasing his own paint and that he could just pay for the Materials. But Mr. [redacted] refused to give his card number to the pay for the materials. I then advised Mr. [redacted] that if he refused to pay for the materials that he would forfeit his contract and yet he still refused to pay and after re-peating that several times, I then advised Mr. [redacted] that I’m sorry that we aren’t able to work together and that he should look into hiring another contrac-tor.I have been in business for almost 10 years and I have a very good name and reputation approximately 80% of our business has always by been word of mouth and it is unfortunate that myself and Mr. [redacted] weren’t able to come to terms but I did due my best to due right by Mr.[redacted].ThanksWebsite: [redacted]
