When [redacted] came in to look for a possible auto loan, we obtained a signed credit application from [redacted] to process the “final approval with Capital One” and tried to obtain a better approval with other lenders that may have given [redacted] more favorable loan terms and options for vehicles based on her available down payment and payment parameters We did not make any “final decisions” on her on behalf of the finance companies we usedWe submitted the application to other finance companies and their final decisions were to pass on an auto loan for her However, Capital One did give an approval but they limited her on her finance optionsShe was not interested in a compact vehicle so the Impala shown was the best vehicle in “our opinion” that fitted the tentative approval from Capital One based on the down payment and payment parameters of their internal scoring of the dealWhen she did get up to leave I could sense she was unhappy and I did walk out the doors to follow her to ask if I could help out in any way [redacted] stressed her frustration about the process in a very vocal way but would not come back into the dealer ship to explore other options or to discuss how Capital Ones Pre-Approval program works Regards, [redacted] SALES MANAGER

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12627885, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:
I reject their statement fully and they continue to twist wordsI never said I agree to by any vehicle sight unseenThey never gave me the opportunity to see the vehicleAnd I flat out told them very verbally over the phone on 12/30/that I have not even seen the vehicle yet and I was extremely dis-satisfied. This is the most underhanded dealer I have ever seenThey are constantly twisting things around to the point where their deceitfulness is progressing into an out and out lie. I am done arguing as it is time for a lawyer. Regards, *** ***

Hello,  The General Manager George Hawes has reached out to this customer personally to address their concerns and offered to pay for an outside location to detail the vehicle at our cost. At this time we feel the concerns have been addressed and corrected.

for vehicles based on her available down payment and payment parameters.  We did not make any “final decisions” on her on behalf of the finance companies we used. We submitted the application to other finance companies and their final decisions were to pass on an auto loan for her.  However,  Capital One did give an approval but they limited her on her finance options. She was not interested in a compact vehicle so the Impala shown was the best vehicle in “our opinion” that fitted the tentative approval from Capital One based on the down payment and payment parameters of their internal scoring of the deal. When she did get up to leave I could sense she was unhappy and I did walk out the doors to follow her to ask if I could help out in any way. GM Financial programs the miles that are currently on a vehicle go against the total mileage allowed on a lease. Our 3 day “buyback” policy is only on used vehicles. The vehicles MSRP is $44,355.00 and his purchase price was $41,789.98 for the truck not $44,000.00. He did have some additional Early Lease Payments due in the amount of $6591.10 to GM Financial but was only charged $3900.00 which we had to pay the difference which saved him an additional $2691.10.  When [redacted] came back he spoke with our Sales Manager [redacted] and [redacted] did offer him the opportunity to get out of the lease agreement but he would have to pay for the removal and replacement of the transferred accessories that were swapped from his lease return. [redacted] also asked him what would make him happy with keeping the lease and [redacted] stated he would like to not be penalized with the mileage on the vehicle. In order to accommodate that request we had to pay GM Financial an additional $887.10. We do not have a recollection of any scuff marks on the bed but would be happy to have them wheeled out or install a bedliner if there is not one in already.     [redacted]General ManagerFeldman Chevrolet of Livonia
