Manchester Memorial Hospital

Review: The Manchester Memorial Hospital (MMH) billing department does not answer their phone or respond to emails. Ive called around 100 times and only got through twice. Both times the representative was not very helpful. First, she asked me to call my health insurance company and work the issue through them. Come to find out, my health insurance company has been trying to reach MMH as well, but has received no response. The insurance company needs additional information from MMH in order to process the claim correctly. In the meantime I keep getting bills that are hundreds of dollars. I called MMH again. I literally called, received no answer, hung up, and redialed about 35 times. When I finally got through, the same rep representative answered. I told her that she needed to contact my health insurance company and provide them with the appropriate information. Her response was something along the lines of, I'll see if this is something we can do. My response was, no, you need to do this. This is completely unacceptable. I should not have to micromanage someone in the MMH billing department so that I stop getting billed. This could negatively affect my credit, which is also unacceptable. I just called again and there hasn't been any resolution. The same customer service rep said she would email the appropriate person and get back to me. Again, unacceptable!
