This place baits you with a low price on-line and then claims, "Blackout," date when you arriveNo blackout dates listed on they websiteSo they can claim whatever they wantI've camped all over the United States and CanadaThis is by far the worst campground ever!!! I have never been cheated and treated so poorly at any campgroundThe police showed up daily for what I'm assuming is angry patronsThe owner became belligerent with us when we complained about the park and its operating practicesThey know all the other parks are likely full and you have no choiceI would bet this place has never refunded money to anyone as they are all about taking your money and then charging you moreThe RV spaces are so close together I swear a saw slide-outs touching each otherNo open fires are allowed because the RV's are so close togetherYou must share a charcoal pit with the unit next to youThere are full time trailers with junk piled all over Stayed October 2016, traveled with family

I booked two nights accommodation online 4/29/- 5/1/(nights) for a single tent site at Slickrock campground on 4/26/ I received an email confirmation as follows: Confirmation code: [redacted] Reservation Information: SingleTent Sites 4/29/- 5/1/(nights) Unit(s): sheltered Adults, Children Payment Details: Total Amount: USD Deposit paid at reservation: USD Balance due: USD When I arrived on 4/29/I was told the balance I owed was $ I showed the staff my email confirmation and which showed a balance due of $but they insisted I owed $because I had booked during their "blackout dates" during which they charge an additional $10/night This "special event" was the April car show - the details of this policy of $10/extra per night during blackout dates was not listed clearly on the website (regardless, it should have been reflected in the email invoice I received at booking) It is buried on the policies pag

Dirty bathrooms and showersBooked nights left after and they would not refund any money even though the amenities listed were not functioning or cleanListed a special price online but would not honor that priceRV sites very unlevelWould not give out contact information of owner or person higher than teen at the counter
