Review: Around March *,2013 I contracted MANDA ELECTRIC LICENSEE # [redacted] LOCATED AT [redacted]. A master electrican by the name of [redacted] who send a worker by the name of [redacted] tel# ###-###-#### to repair and install a meter and service switch so Con Edison can charge my business it's own electrical. I gave the contractor a deposit of $1,500.00 in cash to start the job and we had a verbal agreement that once everything was install and it passes inspection I will pay him the remaining balance of $1,600.00 in cash. [redacted] working under [redacted] Manda Electric co applied for a Electrical work permit with the dept of building on 3/*/13 to work in my store. He only came to my place of business five times to work and install the meter box and service switch which is not completely finish. I have tried to reach him by phone and text more than ten times and he has only responded to me three times saying that he is very busy and he is not able to come in to finish the job. Once he has a chance he will try to stop by to finish the job. It has been FOUR months and [redacted] nor [redacted] still has not showed up to finish the job. I have contacted Con Ed District Manger [redacted] to see if they can send out an inspector to inspect the meter and service switch. Unfortunately, they are not able to because only the Electrical Contractor is the only one that could set up those type of appointments. I then called dept of building electrical inspection appt and left a message f or [redacted] Manger of the dept to see if he can help me. I was inform my Building Special Investigation Unit that I would need to try and contact him or hire a new electrician. I do not have money to pay another Master Electrician to finish the job.Desired Settlement: I would like for Manda Electric Co to finish the job that we agreed on correctly without any retaliation against me and mt place of business. So then my place of business can run in proper compliances with the city and state of NY. I do not want to receive a large bill for thousand of dollars from Con Ed because the meter shoud have been install as of March 2013. and also any fines from the city and state of NY
