We have a one bedroom apartment in the Devonshire apartment complex On Monday, April 18th, we reported an issue with the bathroom and kitchen walls (we spoke with *** in the front office via phone) Both areas have at least layers of wallpaper under masonry paint, which is causing multiple issues In the kitchen, bits of the walls are actually falling off into our food when we are cooking The walls that are affected are curling at the edges of both the ceiling and the cabinet line Only about half the kitchen is affected
Additionally, in our bathroom, we are having the same problem on a bigger scale The ventilation in the bathroom is very poor, so the moisture from things like taking a shower or running the sink too hot are causing issues with the walls as well The bathroom walls are peeling, bubbling and in some places, you can see the seams of the wallpaper, almost as if it sliding down the wall My main concern here is that there could be mold behind the wallpap
