We recently moved into our fabulous Mandala Home in Western MontanaThe process of building our dream home was made easy and clear when we found Mandala HomesThe package arrived promptly, much to the amazement of our construction crew, including a laminated manual with very precise instructions of where to find the parts, and how to put them together most efficiently
Best of all, working with the Mandala Homes team to design our home was a breeze - they were flexible, thoughtful, and very knowledgableThe entire process was very positive, and we highly recommend them

We settled for a passive solar house plan called the DawsonHad blue prints drawn upTook these plans to the Home Hardware Building Centre for materials estimateMeanwhile I was in contact with Lars not sure if wen were making the right decision by not going with a Mandala HomeLars never talked down the idea of a conventional houseHe was very patient with usFinally, we got our material estimate from the lumber yard wen were able to compare costs with Mandala HomesThey were about the same except for truckingThat would be $5,ton transport our home package to just north of the Town of ***, Saskatchewan
I called Lars again telling him of our other estimateAll he said was we need to know soon so we can include your home in this summer's production line son we could have it by SeptemberLars sent us a contract to look overWe took a deep breath signed it an sent it back to Lars and Rachel
I knew right from the day the loaded truck backed into our yard feet from the main lane way the we call the Lamp Lake Road we would be okayThe home was packaged so wellUnloading was easy

The bonus surprise was the materials were far superior to the lumber we would have bought hereCedar, Douglas Fir and real plywood not that cornflake sheetingOur Contractor Shane *** commended that he was never treated so well by the Mandala Company when questions needed to be askedHe gave us examples as to how other companies react when confronted with problem that caused him unnecessary grief
Everything was precut with no or very little waste to haul awayThis is a truly environmentally friendly homeThe wow factor hits me every single day that we are blessed to be living in our dream homeI love watching the expressions of first timers when they first walk in eyes to the dome of our new home
We will be inviting Rachel *** and Lars *** to visit and see for themselves what their team of superior works have created for the enjoyment of all who attend to what I call the Cathedral in the Woods
In summation please do not be wary of Mandala HomesThey are a Five Star Company in all areas
On a footnote our home survived the change nature brought us in in the form of regeneration forest fireLars and Rachel were right with us during the fire giving us their love hugs and encouragementWe are surrounded by the green birch and poplar treesThe spruce trees to the north are burnt over as with the jack pine trees to the southThe forest floor is green in one year as our Earth Mothers restores this area since the last burn over in

We purchased a Mandala Home kit in August 2014. Our whole experience with Lars and Rachel and their design team was very positive. They provided quality support throughout the process of designing our home and and were available by visit or phone calls to answer any questions we had. The production date of the kit was made right on time and all the materials were well numbered and accompanied by an informative and easy to use manual.
