I ordered an item from Mandala Tradings subsidiary Mandala Crafts Inc., the item being ASIN#: B01BUKILDG, and the images as well as the bullet point descriptions used for the item were incorrect and, at that time, showed a black gift box which was to come as part of the purchase. Instead I received my titanium chopsticks in a paper box, in a small sack, with no black gift box. When I contacted the company regarding the difference in the item I received compared to what was advertised on their site they indicated that it was an error on the part of their manager that the items pictures were never updated and that the items were no longer packaged in the black gift box. They offered no remediation nor restitution for the blatantly false advertising that they admit to perpetuating. I would never have purchased the item if I had known it came without the box as it was no longer suitable to be presented as a gift, which was the reason for my purchase.
In a subsequent exchange with the company they admitted to always having the gift box that was shown in the image, but they apparently chose to send my item in the inferior and incorrect packaging. They also indicated that since I left negative feedback for them on Amazon, both for the item, and as a seller, they would not send me the gift box that should have been sent as part of my order in the first place. They essentially admitted to willfully not correcting the situation with my order out of spite for my factual reviews that stand as warnings to other buyers.
This is literally the worst business interaction I have ever had with an organization, ever. They willfully sent me an item other than what they advertised, then refused to make it right, despite having the ability at all times to do so correctly. I would highly suggest any and every individual or company that considers doing business with Mandala Trading or their subsidiary Mandala Crafts Inc. strongly reconsider doing so, unless they want to deal with the an organization that does not advertise honestly, willfully fills orders incorrectly, and penalizes customers who leave honest and factual reviews of their business practices.
