Mandan Sporting Goods

Mandan Sporting Goods accepted a website order from Mr*** on 7/28/for a Smith & Wesson mag revolver. We ordered the gun from our distribution center and received it on 8/8/2016. *** came down to the store to pick the gun up and during the inspection of the gun
noticed that it had some minor defects in the finish in which we explained to him that we would get a defective return on this gun and order him in another one and he agreed. The second gun came in on 8/15/and was also defective in our conversation with *** he explained that we should try and get another gun to replace the defective one and we did. On 8/19/the third gun came in and once again it was defective. We went out on a limb and tried one more time with the fourth gun showing up at the store on 8/24/with the same outcome defective. Just so the story is told truthfully Mr*** only wasted his time coming to my store twice out of the four times of us trying to reorder his replacement guns in. Mandan Sporting Goods did everything in our means to try and take care of our customer four times of trying to get a replacement gun in in which two of those guns were hand picked by our warehouse manager is good customer service. All employees at Mandan Sporting Goods have ample vision as that is why when we called *** we explained that the gun showed up and had defects in it and was up to him the customer to make the decision if he wanted to still come down and look at them to see what was wrong with them in which he did not. Also as Mr*** only lives three blocks from our store we felt that it would not be that big of an inconvenience for him to come down and inspect the gun that he purchased. We did deliver four times in the gun industry we are at the mercy of number one the manufacturer that they have a good quality control process in place to find these defects before these guns leave there factory. Obviously these models slipped through the cracks. By no means is that our fault that we did not deliver we delivered four times. Really confused on how in any way we at Mandan Sporting Goods made Mr*** feel stupid and we did not fail we delivered four times. Mr*** contacted the store and talked to me Brandon on 8/25/and explained that he wanted to be credited for his purchase. On that day 8/25/the credit was ran through our credit card machine back to his debit card. Everyone has to understand that when returning merchandise to a debit/credit it is not an immediate credit that you will see immediately back into your account the process of getting you return or credit back into your account normally takes 3-business days all depending on which bank you bank with. We do care at Mandan Sporting Goods and every customer matters to us so we are sorry that we lost Mr*** as a customer but in surveying the whole situation we went above and beyond what any shop would have done to try and fix the situation. What most don’t understand there was credit card fees along with freight charges for the handguns that Mandan Sporting Goods occurred and had to absorb in not only getting the first gun in but then ordering three more to try and replace the defective gun in which the customer was never charged any credit card fees or freight charges in his purchaseWe at Mandan Sporting Goods have no control over what condition any gun will come into our store at that is why we inspect and let the customers know what we find as far as defects before we call them to let them know that there gun has arrived at our shop. It is then up to the customer to come down and make the decision if he either wants the gun or wants to return it for a refund. Just so the air is clear Mr*** was refunded for his total purchase amount on the day that he called us 8/25/to inform us he wanted his refund
