Thank you for your inquiry and for assisting in resolving this situation. I'm requesting copies of Mr ***'s file from Plum Tree Apartments. Our computer records indicate his lease expired 3/31/17, but that he provided us notice of his intent to vacate on 1/6/17, and vacated
2/22/17. Since his lease went through 3/31/17, he would be responsible for any additional vacancy through 3/31/17. I'm checking to confirm when any new resident occupied that apartment. I will also review any written notes, or documentation in the file related to his belief that his lease expiration wasn't relevant, and that he was essentially on a month-to-month agreement which required only a day notice to terminate.
