Mando Import Auto Repair Reviews (1)

Date: March 16, 2017 at 4:02:41 PM CDT Subject: Re: Fwd: Revdex.com reference case #[redacted] To whom it may concern, Response from: Mando Import Auto Repair Case #[redacted] On February 17, 2017 Mrs. [redacted] entered my business for mechanic repairs and she explained that she was referred by a friend....

Mrs. [redacted] described her car’s issues and one of the problematic issue was that the vehicle burned a lot of gas. She also confided in me and stated she was not financially able to spend a lot of money in repairs. Mrs. [redacted] also reported that the motor was replaced by a salvage yard motor. I then explained that I would diagnostically check the motor via computer. When I diagnosed the motor, it displayed nine issues. I explained to Mrs. [redacted] the repairs that needed to be addressed and the estimated cost of $945.00 for the repairs.  Her response was “Oh my God I don t have any money,” and she then made a call via cell phone. Mrs. [redacted] suggested that I replace the main parts to possibly address the issue per her personal mechanic.  I advised that we needed to replace VV timing actuator position sensor and oxygen sensor. She agreed. The work was completed with the above mentioned parts. I then test drove the vehicle approximately 20 miles. The vehicle was running in good condition with no issues. I also repeatedly advised Mrs. [redacted] that she needed to address all of the vehicle’s issues or the motor would possibly at some point run badly again. This would be a temporary band aid to the issues. Mrs. [redacted] called me approximately five days later and reported that the car was running bad. I advised her to come back so I can revise and possibly diagnose the problem. Mrs. [redacted] returned with her vehicle. I explained that she needed a catalytic converter and that the motor needed 4 plugs and an ignition coil. She again brought up her financial situation. I advised that sometimes the computer can't properly diagnose due to clogging. Therefore, the diagnosis is a bad converter. I also explained that sometimes dirty or clogged injectors can cause a bad read due to the clogging. I suggested that we could clean the injectors along with replacing the 4 plugs and ignition coil. Upon completion I again test drove the vehicle and it ran fine with no issues. I went above and beyond, by decreasing labor to the bare minimum in assisting Mrs. [redacted] with resolving her vehicle issues and with her limited finances. I also provided a loaner vehicle (2009 [redacted]) at no charge. So that she wouldn't have to rent a vehicle while hers was in the shop. I have been in business (Mando Import Auto Repair) for 11 years and I am a very fair, and professional business owner, I have always tried to assist my customers with quality work.  I am a dedicated church going individual whom always tries to help my fellow man. I have always provided honest diagnosis and the fairest cost on repairs. I try very hard to satisfy all my customers and my business is based on integrity and professionalism. Mrs. [redacted] was provided an honest, and fair service for a minimum cost due to her financial challenges and budget.
