You did contact us in May and told us about a chargeable repair that you had as well as a spot that needed attention
on your drivewayI came down and looked at
it, and we informed you that we would take care of it as well as the
little area near your garage door that the garage door company had removed and that we would do it as a favor to
you for no charge
As you know, the weather hasn' t cooperated with us this yearThere are summers where we won't lose one day to
rain, yet this year, it seems like it rains every dayWe try to do our repairs on Saturday, and you were scheduled
for Saturday the 26th of JulyThe office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, and the crews work late Friday night
until about I O:OOpmWe were not even aware of the fact that you did not get done until Monday morning or we
would have called and informed you that we were not comingFor that, I apologizeYou were rescheduled for
Tuesday, July 29, but if you recall, we had a rain delay that morning and the crew came in a few minutes late until
it stopped rainingAs soon as they got in, we sent them directly to your houseI thought you would have figured
it out that that is why they were delayedEven the cable guy will give you an eight hour span of what time he is
going to arrive at the houseI think an hour and a half on a rain day isn't that bad
As far as the sealing is concerned, that is my son's company, and they did retum and finish the little I X I square in
your garage on the same dayI know you mentioned that your driveway seal cost more than the neighbors' and the
reason for that is that your driveway is brand new asphalt and had never been sealedIt requires twice as much
sealer to do it the first timeAs far as the fact that the neighbors saw the phone number on the cones and called,
isn't that a result of advertising?
We do, however, want our customers to be happyI am not ecstatic about the fact that you reported us to the RevDex.com for these petty reasons when during the whole time we were trying to work with youI will
send you a check for $for any inconvenience or lost time you might have suffe red

I'm writing to state that as of today 8/Manel Paving has not yet sent me a check for $that they said they would in regards to my complaint #*** Also in his response the owner stated that my reasons where petty, may be they where in his eyes, but I lost important time from work and also personal timeAlso on the day( 7/@7:30)that they rescheduled for , he claimed the reason they were late, was due to rainThere was no rain in the zip code area, and when I called the office and asked where they were, the person told me they exchanging trucks & refueling and would be here shortly
The reason he hasn't received a check is because we were waiting for a response from him. Now that we know that is acceptable, we will send a check out. As far as the rain is concerned, we had scattered showers that morning and had rained at our shop. When he called we were in the process of revamping and getting started at a slightly later time that we usually start. When I said the reason were petty I meant that we were trying to work with him, and that after all the work was done at no charge for the repair and additional area that he complained to the Revdex.com because we were a little late getting to his job.
