Upon analysis, [redacted] determined the client’s payment was received prior to the day window for payments to be received However, this payment was not posted to his account for weeks which prompted the collection letter as the day window was exceeded due to this delay We understand the client’s concerns about how this would affect his and his spouse’s credit report [redacted] is a not for profit, Federally Qualified Community Health Center, with a mission to provided accessible healthcare for all regardless of an ability to payTo ensure operations—the billing department must make a reasonable effort to collect overdue payments However, and noteworthy, it is not ***’s practice to have the collection agencies send reports to the credit bureaus [redacted] promptly reached out to this client on to make him aware of this business practice and to make him aware that [redacted] leadership will promptly address and amend procedures that caused the delays in posting the payment
