Manhattan Bridge Car Wash

Review: I went to this facility for a simple carwash. I have a 2011 BMW X3 in excellent working condition. Within in three minutes of me leaving my car in their hands I was told they could not get my car to go into drive gear, it would only stay in park. I then tried and I too could not get my own car from park into drive. At first they suggested that I was not the car owner , the electronic key was a fake and this is why the car won't go into gear. I had to show proof of ownership!!! After several more unsuccessful attempts they then told me it was my car's computer and I needed a tow to get the car out. An hour later my car finally went into gear and I was able to drive thru the car wash. The tow service also came. I was told to keep the tow service on standby. I gave him $20. I paid for the carwash with the cashier. The cashier was very pleasant and told me, " Don't worry cars stall out all the time at that wash entrance. And it usually takes forever for them to start again. You were lucky yours didn't take so long. There must be something wrong with that door. At least I got to take a break." And she smiled. I have just had my mechanic service my car and he has confirmed there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car's computer. He also informed me that many garage door electronics have interfered with certain computerized cars. My complaint is they have had this situation happen several times before yet they insisted the problem was my car - after questioning if I was the car owner!! (The cashier did not hear our conversations as we were outside and she is indoors. Which is probably why she felt free to be honest). Their action was to continue to grind my car's transmission in hopes of trying to get it into gear and lay blame on me. They knew full well their garage doors have done this before to new cars. I would have saved a lot of money had they told me this from the start.Desired Settlement: I am requesting $15 that I spent on the carwash and $20 that I gave the tow service to wait for my car. My total desired outcome is $35.
