Review: We’re a Manhattan Business Center customer, an answering service located in NY, NY. MBC is an answering service company responsible for transferring calls coming to our New York location to our headquarters located outside of NY. To the best of our knowledge the service has not been working for the last two months. Customers had to get a hold of by email, instead of simply calling us. When we tried calling our New York number the call was just being dropped. We decided to call Manhattan Business Inc. only to find out that the number is dead. Needless to say, we have been paying for service, and getting nothing in return.Desired Settlement: We want a full refund for the last two months of service. Also we want to be contacted by a representative.
Review: Manhattan Business Center is holding our Security Deposit for no reason. Our company rented an office for 18 months and left a security deposit of 2 months which is refundable as in any typical rental agreement. We always paid on time, left the place in same or better condition and notified MBC more than 90 days in advance of the termination of our agreement as stated in the contract; they acknowledged this by email. We should have received our deposit back before February [redacted] of 2014 which we never did; first we were told that it was being processed, then that the process was being managed in Denmark but they weren't able to give us an contact, and lately they wont answer our phone calls, return messages or emails. [redacted] is who runs the place and he is the one who is holding the deposit. We would like to think that this is a misunderstanding but it is looking more like a scam. Other former tenants we know are going through similar situations.Desired Settlement: We want our deposit back. $3400.00
