Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
MrDavid *B***'s reply is partially accurate. The "windshield damage was noted when the vehicles arrived at our dealership", however, the entire form he refers to is completed in the same "black ink" as the rest of the form accept the circles around the damage windshield which is in "blue ink". This implies the damage was documented after my complaint at the dealership which I had to return to the dealership to receive
Prior to returning to the dealership, I spoke with MrRichard S*** about the damage windshield, after a couple of days not hearing back, I returned to the dealership. At that time, MrS*** informed me the damage to my windshield was documented upon receipt at the dealership. I was assured their staff conducts a thorough assessment when vehicles are towed-in. However, it was MrS*** that noticed the damages (indent with notch) that was not (circle) identified on their treceipt inspectionMy conversation with MrS*** was never that I was not sure where the damages occurred, but stated the damages occurred either during towing or at the dealership, and defiantly not prior to being towed and delivered to the dealership. I reject MrB***'s implying any stated damages existing prior; as I made the same clear to MrS***, when I taught it was being being implied during our discussions at the dealership.
After my vehicle starting issue was resolved, I ask to have it detailed at cost, however, I was advised they did not have staff available to do so - this is important, because I have since replaced my windshield that only cost a little more than having my vehicle detailed. It's not necessary for me to seek anything not owed to me. Manhatta Imported Cars, Increply is unacceptable, lacks accountability and offensive
I would like for my complaint to be elevated to their Regional or Headquarters Office having service oversight of Manhattan Import CarsI understand its not Revdex.com serving Metro Washington DC and Eastern Pennsylvania responsibility but would like for documentation for potential civil lawsuitYour time and assistance is greatly appreciated/s/

Dear [redacted]:Manhattan Imported Cars, Inc. is not responsible for the damage(s) to [redacted]'s 2003 [redacted]. The windshield damage was noted when the vehicle arrived at our dealership. Our Service Advisor, Richard S[redacted], recalls a conversation...

with [redacted] where **. [redacted] was not sure when the “Damages (indent with notch) on driver side under rear wheel" occurred and may have been existing.Manhattan Imported Cars, Inc. does not have a service/referral contract with [redacted]'s Towing & Recovery, Inc. The fact that Manhattan Imported Cars, Inc. may have given [redacted]'s Towing & Recovery contact information does not make us responsible,Sincerely,

Review: I took my car into Manhattan [redacted] and [redacted] on Sat. 4.05.2007 2014 in [redacted] MD to have an Alternator replaced in a 2008 [redacted] and after they serviced my car, ther was a ding in the right rear fender up by the rear trunk hood) that upon inspection with a dealership employee, prior to their service, was not there.I even have their employees inspection sheet where he marked any defects etc. They returned my car with a "ding" in the right rear fender late Friday evening on 4.11.2014 - I went back to the dealership on Sat 4.12.2014 and spoke to "[redacted]" the original person who helped me and checked in my car and inspected it's condition, when I reported this to him he agreed with me that it was not there when I brought it into the dealership and remembered me and my car. We both went back over the "inspection sheet" he originally filled out upon my arrival on 4-05-2014 - and he even said it was NOT there when I brought the car in for service. (*their own employee) Well when I brought this up to the Service Consultant [redacted], that day - he said that they would "make it right" for me and to bring my car back into the shop on Weds 4-16-2014 and I did. One day later (April 17th) I received a call from [redacted] the Service Manager thereat 2:45 p.m. and he said he was not going to pay for it to be repaired(even after there service consultant [redacted] had said they would) and that he could not see how anyone of his guys might have done this to my car with their tools and that the gentleman who originally inspected my car was a Part time Valet and tried to act like it was his mistake to say they would cover it - even though he WAS the person who represented their company an actual filled out the paperwork to intake my car for service and took the keys etc. **Please help me anyway you can as they are a very un-ethical dealership if this is how they operate!Desired Settlement: I would like to file a formal complaint so others can see how un-ethical they are.I would also like the ding in my car fixed- since they damaged my vehicle while it was in their care.

Review: I am sending you this letter as a follow up to my complaint regarding the service/damages to my 2003 [redacted] initially reported onsite August 29, 2014 while picking up my vehicle. The noted damages were stated as following:Cracked Front Windshield (passenger side center)Damages (indent with notch) on driver side under rear wheel.I am requesting that these damages be repaired or a written reply why [redacted] is not responsible, and whether or not Manhattan [redacted] have a service/referral contract with [redacted] Towing & Recovery, Inc. Damages were noted while at the dealership, and discussed with Richard S[redacted] the following business day. I was provided a copy of the multi-point inspection report indicating my vehicle was received with cracked windshield. There is no indication made of the other damages or comments other than Tow in. Not Running. There is an additional notation of TOW-In, and apparently made later. Mr. S[redacted] was very professional and referred me to [redacted] Towing & Recovery, Inc.I spoke briefly with a representative that provided a poorly articulated rationale how my vehicle could not have been damaged during the towing. It is unclear when or where the damages occurred, however, the damages described herein did not exist prior to my vehicle being towed and serviced. It has been 19 days since my initial complaint and request for appropriate action to correct/repair damages to my vehicle. I believe my concerns have not been taken seriously, and apparently, there is no accountability. This kind of customer service is not consistent with the [redacted] Standards.I will schedule an appointment to have my windshield replaced. Providing I do not receive a reply, I will proceed with other redress options as appropriate.Desired Settlement: Replace front windshield and repair body specifically, driver side rear under wheel.Repair work is requested to be performed by Manhattan [redacted], and should be at their cost or their referral, [redacted]'s Towing & Recovery, Inc. that towed my vehicle into the dealership.I'm mailing in all additional documentation for your review and consideration of this complaint.
