Tell us why here...[redacted], recently had his day in court and it was determined by a judge in the city of New York, that Manhattan Jeep Chrysler dodge had no part in causing any of the issues he ad alleged.  the matter was resolved.

Review: I want to cancel a lease because I feel I have been discrimination against and taken advantage of because I am an [redacted]. On May **, 2014, I return a 2011 jeep early leasing, in order to get rebates and incentives on a 2014 Jeep (I was told by Manhattan Jeep). I was quoted wrong prices by the salesman. I paid $2,250.00 down payment on a price of $30,000. My payment was not deducted from the price but was added to the price of the Jeep making the price higher. The rebate that was suppose to be $1,500. was also added to the price of Jeep. The salesman told me they was going to pay off the remaining balance of the 2011 Jeep but instead he added $1,083 in the price of the Jeep. The contract is wrong and the salesman is wrong. On the lease it states that I have ten days to cancel the lease. I went to Manhattan Jeep on May **, 2014 to meet with the manger of sales . I told him that I wanted to cancel the lease. He refuse to cancel. He said that New York State has no legal rights to cancel the lease. I only have three (3) days left to cancel. I feel Manhattan Jeep is taking advantage of me.

Will someone Please help.Desired Settlement: I would like to cancel the lease get my $2,250.00 and my 2011 Jeep back.

Review: I was told that my monthly payment on my vehicle would be 517 a month. Now that t u e payments have started the payments are 654 a month.Desired Settlement: I am not happy with the amount that I'm paying at this y time and want it changed

Response:

[redacted]'s car payment was determined by her interest rate , which was given to her by [redacted], down payment and the term of her loan. All the ladder was fully disclosed and accept by [redacted] at the time she picked up her new car. The only way to lower her payment would be for her to find a bank that would will be willing to refinance her loan at a lower rate of interest. Typically this is not something that could be easily done unless the terms were considerably different than they were at the time of delivery, such as decreasing the amount that was originally financed. Please feel free to have [redacted] contact me if she would like to discuss in more detail. David M[redacted] ###-###-####

Review: I wanted to lease a Jeep from said location and was in negotiation at almost closing time (9.**.14). My credit had to be check but I was encouraged by [redacted] the salesman and [redacted] the [redacted] that I should leave a deposit in good faith that I would return and to also ensure the availability of the vehicle I intended to purchase. The next day I heard nothing from either gentleman during the course of the day and was given the run around. After getting in contact with [redacted] I was informed that my credit was not within range for the price we agreed and I would have to pay more. I declined and asked for a refund. I went to the dealer about 7:30pm (9.**.14) and was asked to finance and asked if I could find a co-signer- I said "no" all I want now is a refund. [redacted] then took my card and returned telling me that I would have my money back in 72 hours. It has been ten days and I had to call back to speak with the [redacted], who then asked if I wanted to finance or pay a higher premium and I said no. He then told me that my refund had not been processed in some communication error. I asked only for an email or a fax saying they refunded my money and I was told that "we aren't allowed to do that, but i'll ask" ??? and that he would get back to me in 2 hours that was 10.*.14 and today is 10.**.14 still no call or email.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back and hopefully we can do better business in the future. Treat people right and you wouldn't have to scam.

Review: I'm fileing this complaint on behalf of me and my Son. We were at this dealership to trade in a 2015 Elantra for a bigger Vehicle but my son didn't have his ID so he said let's leave and come back another day when the dealer said don't worry he could handle that we weren't looking to do anything but to treated properly though this Bussines but instead treated poorly in some many ways for One we told the salesman that he couldn't register the car in my name really I shouldn't had to say that but we did a few times which he denied but here's the kicker he asked for the Registration to the Elantra and then he just disregarded the information presented to him with my Sons full name and Address on it clear as day the paperwork was done all wrong they sent the title in my name and address along with a host of other problems to from the time with left the dealership the problem started he registered the vehicle in my name instead of follow the info from trade in registration this lead to vehicle getting towed for tickets in my name to no avail they Changed the registration numbers of to prove the vehicle is my Sons that didn't work and they are not trying to make this right so now he is worried about his future cause of this Saleperson Calais act for a commission but will cost us 40k this isn't right and this salesman has been working here for many years he said with practice like that how is he still thereDesired Settlement: Return my Son his 2015 Elantra at cost of vehicle at time of trade in and straighten out the financial situation as well

I have spoken to [redacted] on two occasions, unfortunately [redacted] has outstanding tickets from a previous vehicle he owned. He provided all the necessary docuemntation to register and insure the jeep he purchased from us. After he told us what had happened and that the vehicle was towed and the city wanted over $10,000 dollars to release the jeep. We have tried to help [redacted] , buy re-registering the vehicle in his son's name , and provide him with a new bill of sale and a letter to ex[plain the situation. Unfortuantely , the New York City department of finance is not accepting that. They want the outstanding balance that [redacted] owes to be paid in full , in order for the vehicle to be released.Tell us why here...

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[I see that these will not admit to their wrong doing for one they are hanging on to the tickets that I owe for shifting the wight on me isn't the way this should go the salesman was hungry for the sale that he didn't take the time to execute the paperwork properly and now this is the end result the vehicle they sold use is now on Recall and we are sure they were aware of this before they made the transaction between me and my son and so they want us to believe they did no wrong Well they have everything this would not have happened if this would have done his job properly and now we gotta pay not right not fare and my son hasn't been heard he is the one who suffer the most though this ordeal even if they were to give us 5k to add on the loan I can work something out with my ticket situations and impounded

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

My buddy and I had a handshake deal with GABE on a new 2016 Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD for $369/month and $3,000 down. They put the deal on paper and he signed. They then claimed that the bank couldn't provide a lease (despite a 790 credit score). Said all they could do was $399 a month. These guys are two-timing, double-dealing liars and I would not recommend them to someone unless I really really hated them.

Review: About 5 months ago my family and I were relocated across the country to Seattle for work. We decided that because we had two dogs it would be better for us to drive then to ship the car and put our dogs in the belly of a plane. As our departure date neared, I decided to go ahead and get an oil change, tire rotation, and wheel alignment prior to our 3,500 Mile drive across the country. Because my office was in midtown and my time was extremely valuable with so little time before we left, I decided to bring the car into Manhattan Jeep because I thought that an alignment, oil change, and tire rotation would be something that no one could really mess up but boy was I wrong.

I brought the car into the service center and dropped it off to them at around 8:00 AM which was my scheduled time to drop it off. I was told that the car would be ready by around 5-5:30 and to just come by and it would be done. When I got to the dealership to pick up the car, it took about 30 minutes to get my car which I thought was fine, NO BIGGIE. I took a look at the car and the wheels and noticed that there weren't really any hand prints on my dirty rims (tell tale signs of rotation cause you gotta take those wheels off to rotate them). After a long day I didn't have the energy to go in an ask and just needed to go home and continue my packing. Upon leaving the dealership, the jeep seemed to drive the same as when I dropped it off (pulling to the right a bit) but again, I figured that there might have been some residual "pullings" to the right because of uneven tire wear and would be corrected after a few miles. Fast forward to Wisconsin, the car is now pulling severely to the right but because our time constraints of the trip, we decided to just keep on truckin on to the west coast. Upon arriving to the west cost, I brought the car over to my local [redacted] for a 4 wheel alignment. After completion the technician told me that there was no way that there had been an alignment done on the vehicle and that I should contact the dealership for a copy of the alignment report because there is always a report to show what was out of whack. I called up the service department over at Manhattan Jeep and they were unable to locate the alignment report. The service manager then told me that he was going to speak to the technician to see what happened. Fast forward a few days of me calling to follow up, I was told that he's not sure what happened and offered me a refund for the alignment and the tire rotation and says this; "[redacted]." Well service manager, sorry really isn't good enough because you have now put the lives of myself and my family in jeopardy (maybe thats a little harsh but on a 3,500 mile drive, having an alignment out of whack could cause an accident).

Here we are 4 months later after calling said service manager and still no check. He tells me almost every time I call that the check has been sent out but I know it hasn't. I even have emails saying that the service manager personally signed the check and it was sent out. I have now been charged for a 4 wheel alignment, wheel rotation, and oil change which I don't know if any were actually done. Oh and I have a bald front left tire because of the alignment being off and driving 3,500 miles on it. These tires aren't even available anymore and I now need to replace all 4 for $1,000 around 10,000 Miles earlier than expected. GREAT!

Anyway, if I could offer any advice to the people of NYC, do not trust this service center with your vehicle. They are dishonest thieves. And to Manhattan Jeep, you've ticked off the wrong work from home dad. I have a lot of time on my hands and will not rest until this has been rectified and someone is held accountable. Manhattan Jeep has basically put my family's lives in danger and I don't take that lightly at all.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the tire rotation, alignment, and oil change. Possibly also even damages for the tire that needed to be replaced.

Review: Purchased vehicle 10/**/2012. Vehicle returned the following day, because of stalling (3 times) during drive home, from dealer. Vehicle kept in service department for 30+ days before returning to me. No explanation given on what repairs were done or on length of time in service.

Engine problem began and lights in instrument cluster illuminated. Checked owners manual and it appears that this was a recurring problem with this vehicle and someone was aware of it because those same cluster symbols were circled in the manual. My claim is that I was sold a damaged vehicle and someone at the dealer was aware of it.

I filled a claim with GEICO (my insurance). They denied the claim based on their assessment showing engine failure occurred due to lack of maintenance. So in essence, the vehicle was poorly cared for and damaged before I purchased it. I purchased this vehicle for $29,000.(including financing). I had use of this vehicle for 6,000 miles (2oil changes). There should be a law against this "practice". MJCD doesn't acknowledge any responsibility. I haven't seen my vehicle for 17 months, all of which, I've maintained the note payments and insurance payments, with no vehicle.Desired Settlement: Only wish my vehicle to be properly repaired and returned.

This is my 5th Chrysler, Jeep vehicle since 1986. One would think I'd be a preferred customer. I guess not in the environment that we're in now. Thanks for your consideration [redacted]

Review: Hello,

I work for extended periods abroad, and am in the United States this month for a short period of time. Among the many errands I needed to get done on this return trip to the US is buy a car, or sign a lease for a new vehicle. I identified the car I wanted - a 2015 Jeep Compass - and starting last week, I began calling dealerships including Manhattan Jeep to see where I could get the best deal on a 3 year lease.

I spoke to three dealerships including two in NJ, as well as to Manhattan Jeep, where I was first directed to a Ms. Adriana L[redacted], on the sales team at Manhattan Jeep. I explained to her that I had very limited time in the US and that I wanted to know their prices upfront for the 2015 Jeep Compass. I could tell that she kept wanting to not tell me the price and get me in the store -- which I simply did not have time to do.

Finally, I was able to get what I thought was a great deal at [redacted], who were offering me $2500 down (inc taxes and fees) and $150 per month for a 3-year lease on a 2015 Jeep Compass (10k miles per year, 4WD, heated seats, blue tooth and power windows).

The problem for me is that I don't have a car and I live in Manhattan so getting out to New Jersey would have been a hassle. I called Adriana back (###-###-####) and she told me "[redacted]." I quizzed her on whether they had the exact model of car that I wanted (I wanted only the True Blue or Black in the 2015 Jeep Compass) and she assured me in several phone conversations including most recently on Friday and Saturday, August **-**, that a) they had the cars in stock and b) that even if the cars were not there, that the dealership had a deal with other dealerships, where they could do a trade and bring in the car I wanted.

I cannot tell you how clear I was on the fact that (1) I have very limited time in the US and I cannot afford to come in and find out that what she said is untrue and (2) that I wanted a very specific car with the deal I had mentioned.

She again assured me, and I made an appointment to come in at 8 pm on Monday, Aug **.

As soon as I came in, I realized that Adriana was not in fact a sales person -- she immediately handed me off to an associate of hers named Albert J S[redacted] (email: [redacted] and ###-###-####). I immediately realized I had been taken for a fool when he claimed to know nothing of the promise Adriana had made of matching the competitor's offer and adding $500 off. When I became angry, he went in the back and returned with a printout for a far more expensive car. He said he was "trying to meet me halfway" and that the car was the only 2015 Jeep Compass left on the lot --- he wanted me to pay $3999 down plus taxes, which would have come to over $5000 plus $265 per month. I explained to him that this is almost double what I had been offered at the other dealership, and that I felt like I had been hoodwinked.

He then brought out his manager -- whose name I did not catch. That man claimed that they had sold "25 cars" since Adriana made the appointment with me. I reminded him that she had assured me that they could bring in cars from partner dealerships if the model and type I wanted was not available --- and he feigned surprise, claiming there was no such offer.

I then told him that I felt this was a trick and that they had told me everything I wanted to hear in order to make me come into the showroom. Mind you the showroom is on [redacted], about a 15-block walk for me in a deserted area of the city where it is hard to get cabs.

When he realized he could not sell me the more expensive car, he stuck out his hand and tried to shake my hand, and then he showed me the door.

To me this is a clear case of false advertising --- where a business is using a low-level employee to make a series of outrageous promises. Once you are in the showroom the person who made the promises is suddenly nowhere to be found and her associate feigns ignorance of what she said to get you in the showroom in the first place.Desired Settlement: I am looking for a couple of things:

1. No 1, I want Manhattan Jeep to discontinue it's false advertising and to treat customers like myself with a modicum of dignity and tell us exactly the prices that we will have to pay for the cars over the phone (why is that such a difficult thing for them?)

2. I want them to make good on Adriana's promise to me of matching the Decozen Jeep offer on the 2015 Jeep Compass ($150 per month plus $2500 down including taxes and fees). They will claim that model car has been sold. So then I would like them 3. To make good on Adriana's promise of doing a dealer trade and providing the requisite vehicle through the said trade.

Review: On April **, 2015 I purchased a used 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland for $38,282.31 at the New York City Manhattan Jeep Chrysler Dodge dealer. The carfax listed an open recall (Chrysler recall #[redacted])([redacted] recall # [redacted]) dated April **, 2015 (9 DAYS BEFORE THE CAR WAS SOLD TO ME). After questioning the sales person about the recall listed on the carfax, I was verbally told by my sales person ([redacted]) and the sales manager ([redacted]) that the recall was repaired and that the car was safe to drive. They also told me that they were not allowed to sell any cars with ANY open recalls. Unfortunately for me, a few weeks later I found out that the recall was never fixed. This particular recall is a SAFTEY DEFECT/NON COMPLIANCE DESCRIPTION & SAFEY RISK. Now correct me if I'm wrong but last year around August *, 2014 New York City became the FIRST city to ban the sale of any used car with an "UNRESOLVED" or "OPEN" recalls attached to the vehicle identification number (VIN). To make a long story short, I should have never been sold a car with a open recall. I contacted sales manager [redacted] at the Manhattan Jeep dealer to explain the situation and that got me NOWHERE FAST. I was pretty much called a liar. The sales manager [redacted] insisted that the recall was issued after I bought the car which is 100% untrue. He told me that besides putting me on a waiting list until the parts become available to make to the necessary repairs there was NOTHING ELSE HE CAN DO FOR ME. I want is to return this car FOR A FULL REFUND. I would have NEVER bought this car if I would've been told the TRUTH from the beginning. The defect on the car is-THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) CONTAINS AN INTERNAL FUEL PUMP RELAY THAT COULD OPERATE INTERMITTENTLY OR FAIL WITHOUT WARNING. AN INTERMITTEN OR FAILED FUEL PUMP RELAY COULD CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL WHILE DRIVING AND CAUSE A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING.This car was sold to me illegally and Manhattan Jeep Chrysler dodge should be held responsibleDesired Settlement: I want my money back.

Review: On Sunday, May **, 2015 I was researching Jeep dealerships online in New York and found Manhattan Jeep’s advertisement for two Jeep Renegades in Commando color for $25,690 each. I clicked on the provided link to request the sale price and sent an email to the dealership. I received an email that did not give a sale price, but rather the contact info for a saleswoman named [redacted]. Instead of emailing back, I decided to drive into the dealership the following morning and talk to somebody in person.

On Monday, May **, 2015 I drove with my father to Manhattan Jeep. On the way, I received a phone call from [redacted] and told her I would arrive shortly and was interested in test driving the Renegade. She said she would be expecting me. When we arrived, I asked for [redacted], but was told by [redacted] that she was busy. [redacted] proceeded to take me on the test drive himself and ended up being the only salesman I spoke with that day. When I asked about their Memorial Day Sale price, [redacted] informed me that there were no deals associated with the Renegade model. I was still willing to pay the advertised sticker price of $25,690. [redacted] took all my information and my $7,000 down payment. I repeatedly asked to see the final price of the car and he kept telling me that he had nothing to do with the finances and I would have to wait to see the total price when the [redacted] was ready with the paperwork. After a couple hours, [redacted] informed me that the loan was approved, but would not tell me what the monthly payments would be. The [redacted], [redacted], finally came out to speak with me and took me back to his office. I declined the optional dealership warranty and signed the loan contract assuming he had done his math correctly using the advertised asking price that I had agreed to pay and took the keys to my new car. As I arrived back in [redacted], I realized that the gas tank was on Empty and once I got back to our house I realized there were no floor mats in the car. I called the dealership to see about getting the missing floor mats and they said that the mats were considered accessories and not included in the sale of the car.

The following morning I drove back to my home in Virginia. That Saturday, May **, I looked through my paperwork and realized I had never received an actual invoice or bill of sale from Manhattan Jeep. I looked over the numbers on the loan contract and saw the cash price on the contract listed as $27,7492.95, including $802.95 in taxes. However, after subtracting the $802,95 in taxes from the total cash price revealed that the amount they charged me for the car was actually $26,690. That is $1,000 more than the advertised asking price online, $1,000 more than what was on the car itself in the showroom, and $1,000 than the price that had been repeated over and over the entire time I had been at the dealership. I emailed [redacted] immediately to bring this to his attention and included a screenshot of their online ad. I did not hear back from him for two days when he then admitted to the error in pricing and apologized saying he would find a way to take care of it. I also tried to call and speak with the [redacted], [redacted], but was repeatedly told that he was not in and any messages I left for him went unanswered. Over the next week I emailed back and forth with [redacted], but got no resolution as he continued to tell me I needed to pay the full overcharged amount on the loan and then he would figure out how to get me the $1,000 back. I repeatedly pointed out that I wanted to see an invoice with the true balance owed and I was willing to send a check directly to the dealer for that amount. If they still needed me to pay through a bank, then I wanted to see a newly drawn contract with the correct amount for the cash price and the newly calculated taxes and interest. [redacted] told me the bank would not allow the contract to be cancelled or modified. I have yet to see any paperwork showing the exact amount I owe using the correct cash price of the car.

I called and spoke to [redacted] on Monday June [redacted] and he said he would get back to me with an answer but never called me back. On June [redacted], I decided to call [redacted] Auto Finance directly to see what could be done. They informed me that the dealership could have the contract cancelled and return the check they received with the incorrect amount. Then Manhattan Jeep could easily write up a new document with the correct price or leave it cancelled. I immediately called Manhattan Jeep and passed on this information to [redacted] letting him know that the bank was totally fine with cancelling the contract based on the fact that the price stated on it is false. [redacted] said he didn’t think the dealership would be ok with that, even though this was their mistake. Once again he said he would talk to his boss and get back to me, but I have yet to get a call from him.

In the morning of June **, I called Manhattan Jeep one last time and asked to speak with the [redacted], [redacted]. I was directed to his voicemail and left him a message regarding this situation and asking him to call me back. I have yet to hear from him. During this entire process I have never received a single phone call from anybody at this dealership and no reasonable action has been taken to correct the overcharged price on my loan or provide me with a detailed invoice of the sale. I have been repeatedly told by [redacted] and [redacted] to pay the full amount on the contract even though everybody agrees the cash price on it is incorrect. They say they will then send me a $1,000 reimbursement, but I don’t want to be reimbursed a flat $1,000 when I have yet to see exactly how much I was overcharged since they refuse to provide me with a detailed invoice.

The incorrect cash price of $26,690 was entered into the contract by the dealership and as such should be considered false advertising as well as fraud since they admit to advertising the car at $25,690 and are now unwilling to provide me with a copy of my true bill of sale while they continue to hold onto the bank’s check with the overcharged amount. There is absolutely no reason why they should be asking their customers to pay an extra $1,000 plus associated taxes and fees over the actual asking price of their cars. As far as I am concerned, the contract should be considered void because the cash price is incorrect and I should not be expected to pay it in full. I want to pay exactly what I owe and no more.Desired Settlement: I would like Manhattan Jeep to take responsibility for their incorrect pricing on the loan contract and return the overcharged amount back to the bank effectively cancelling the loan with [redacted]. Then I would like to see a hard copy of my actual bill of sale with the true and correct price of the car and my actual balance owed, taking into account my $7,000 down payment. I am completely willing and able to send a check directly to the dealership to pay off my actual balance in full as soon as Manhattan Jeep shows me a detailed and accurate breakdown of my vehicle purchase.

Before Christmas, I signed a contract with them for a Red Cherokee 2014. They searched and found a car I wanted on the market. They promised me that they will make calls and get this car transfer to Manhattan after New Year. So I was happy and dreaming have my car as a New Year gift.

In early January, I called them saying I would like to go and pick it up. They told me the car will be here in another week. So I waited. The next week I got a call saying the car I wanted is no longer exist! What does 'no longer exist' mean? They suppose to order the car right after I signed the contract!

Then they are saying that I can another car with different interior color. I was fine with that. Couple days later they told me I have to pay $600 more to get that car. I said 'NO'. I said the price was already fixed and I wouldn't pay extra. Their attitude became very negative. I have to be clear here: I prepared the money and I was planing to pay with cash. Clearly they were taking advantage on me.

Finally they promised they would order one from the factory and give me a $500 discount. At first they said they can do express order and get the car within 3~4 weeks. When I called them a week later, they were saying I have to wait about 7 weeks. I was really angry but had to wait because there's no car fit my requirement (Red, Sunroof, 4x4, GPS, V6...).

Then February comes, things seems going well. About 2 weeks ago, they told me my car was on the way to Manhattan. They told me it would arrive between Feb. ** - Fed. **. I was very excited because finally I can get my car.

I just called them again (It was always me who call them), 20mins ago, they told me the car won't arrive till early March! MARCH! Seriously, I don't understand why they keep lying to me! I spent over $1000 on renting cars or other transportations. I wasted my time waiting and waiting. And I didn't get a car for this winter! That's why I want to buy a car!

What can I do now? I have to keep waiting...I've already waited for 3 months. I'm really depressed.Desired Settlement: I think the dealer has to take the responsibility. They should cover my lost due to their dishonor of our contract. And they should get my car delivered as soon as possible.

Review: I visited Manhattan Jeep 1/**/16 with the intent to trade in my existing Jeep towards the lease of a new one. Prior to this I "built" a Patriot model with my desired options from the company website, but after test driving that model I decided to go with a 2016 Cherokee Latitude. I was very specific with the sales rep Elvis, and gave him a copy of the options and things I wanted. He searched inventory and had one in stock with all of my wants and we began negotiating the deal. After 5.5 hours of waiting the Cherokee showed up but I wasn't given the window sticker or "build sheet" that told me that everything I wanted was in the package. Key features I wanted were heated / power front seats, the cold-weather package with all-weather floor mats, Firestone Destination A/T off-road tires or equivalent because I live in rural NJ part of the time. With virtually no effort on the part of the sales rep to take me thru the vehicle to check everything I concluded the deal with the finance person and bought some additional protection / service package items. When I commented to the finance man that it was odd that I wouldn't at least get the rubber mats he promised to provide a full set for no charge if I returned the customer satisfaction survey with all "10's". When I was given the keys it was only one set. I asked if there was a second and Elvis said they would mail them to me because they couldn't find them just then. I was also told Jeep would mail the new license plates and registration to my home which still has not occurred and the temp tag is either close to expiration or already is. So, no plates / registration and no second key! When I called and spoke to the dealership manager Jeffrey M. he said some new cars only come with one key.Desired Settlement: I like the Cherokee Latitude and will keep it of course, but for very few dealer cost $'s they could at least install the heated seat package (no power is OK) and swap out the tires and get me my second set of keys. It's what I asked for and thought I was getting only to realize at closing that it wasn't exactly correct. I've found that the dealer has been talking in circles around the issues and doesn't seem to care. They actually said afterwards that I should have bought a different model (Trailhawk) which had the missing items...I said I would have if I'd known the difference at the time! I paid a good price this this vehicle but think that the dealer and salesperson were more interested in selling a car than satisfying a customer.

Basically, this is a really easy fix for them and a way to get a happy customer but they don't seem to care. adjust

Review: On 1/*/2016 my son and I went to this dealership with an ad from true car with a price for a car and an apr of 0% for 60 months.Prior to going we called to asked if they would honor the ad and the apr which they said they would.Upon arrival we were told they would not honor the true car ad or the apr of 0% for 60 months. Then the salesman tried to sell us a more expensive car .Then I was accused of recording the conversation at which time the salesman said this deal is done. This is a classic case of bait and switch.

Business

Response:

Unfortunately, the customer did not understand the way the incentives work. Chrysler Corp. offers a $2500 consumer rebate or 0% financing for 60 months. The consumer has the right to choose one or the other, they are not entitled to both as per Chrysler Corp incentives. This was conveyed to the customer , but he did not seem to understand or didn't want to hear the explanation that he could not have the rebate and the 0% percent financing.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

They would not honor the ad from true car. Then tried to sell me a more expensive car. Also on there web site they offer 1% off if you worked for a company on there list they would not honor that also.
