[redacted] purchased her beautiful kitten from Manhattan Puppies & Kittens on December [redacted], 2015 in the amount of $1700 plus sales tax, for a total of $1850.88. She spent a great deal of time interacting with the kittens, and finally decided to take this gorgeous, healthy kitten home. My...

staff went over all of the terms of the health warranty and she signed the contract, which also clearly defines the terms of sale. [redacted] signed our contract which stated that there are no returns or exchanges on animals unless they are deemed “unfit for purchase” by a licensed Veterinarian. The New York State Pet health warranty states very clearly that: only animals which are deemed “unfit for purchase” by a licensed Veterinarian can be returned for a refund. It further states that such certification must be made in writing by a licensed Veterinarian, using the specific words “unfit for purchase,” along with a formal diagnosis. [redacted] came back to our business two days later and wanted to return her kitten for absolutely no medical reason. She had no documentation from a Veterinarian and she simply demanded her money back for a perfectly healthy kitten, as she was having buyer’s remorse. She then left the kitten in a carrier at our facility and walked out. [redacted] naively stated that she does not “agree with the term unfit for purchase,” however it is the way that the actual law reads. And regardless of the fact that [redacted] neglectfully returned her healthy kitten by leaving it in a carrier on our floor with no medical documentation whatsoever, I still proceeded to issue her a refund. Her credit card was refunded within one week of her dropping her kitten in our facility. I’ve provided proof of sale, the signed contract, as well as a copy of the NYS Pet health warranty, which we provide to each customer upon purchase of an animal. I’ve also provided proof of refund to [redacted] credit card. This Revdex.com case was spitefully and deceitfully opened by [redacted], as she has been refunded for the kitten despite her irrational behavior and the fact that she did not follow the law nor the terms of the Pet Health warranty. I am available by phone or email if there are any further issues that need to be addressed in this matter. Kind Regards, Deborah

gorgeous, healthy puppy home. My staff went over all of the terms of the contract in detail before she signed. [redacted] signed our contract, which clearly states that there are no returns or exchanges on animals unless the animal itself is deemed unhealthy by a licensed Veterinarian. However, [redacted] came back to our business three days later demanding to return her puppy. She verbally claimed that her daughter was allergic, however she provided no medical information to support this claim. Regardless, we agreed to take the puppy back despite the fact that the contract clearly states that this was a finale sale. We refunded [redacted] card ending in [redacted] within 10 business days as promised. However, [redacted] simultaneously opened up a chargeback through her credit card company as well. The fact that both transactions were submitted at the same time triggered a red flag with her credit card company, and therefore her bank proceeded to once again debit [redacted]’s account. This was an error on the part of her bank and had nothing to do with my company. I then went out of my way to again write a check to [redacted] for the refund of the purchase price of he puppy, which she then cashed on April [redacted] of this month. I’ve attached a copy of the cancelled check for your reference. I have gone above and beyond with professionalism and customer service to accommodate [redacted], regardless of the fact that she violated the terms of her contract. This matter was resolved quite some time ago and I am therefore quite flabbergasted by her feverish behavior and her unfounded claim put into the Revdex.com. I am available by phone or email if there are any further issues that need to be addressed in this matter. Kind Regards, Deborah K[redacted], Pres MPK.
