Manhattan Total Health

Review: I have visited Manhattan total health off and on for about a year and half due to pain in my back and neck. They first coax you into joining by advertising free massages. When I first questioned this I was informed it is completely covered within the health insurance I have. I then started seeing multiple, I mean multiple checks arrive at my home on my name from my health insurance with the Manhattan total health billing. When I questioned [redacted] who is the 'manager', she informed me it is a very SIMPLE procedure whereby you bring the checks to us and by the time it goes to $1000 the checks will automatically start coming to us! That is not TRUE. All the checks were coming to me for a year, and I would have to take all of them to her. Then I started get ting letters, TONS of letters, explaining that one check is missing. So I went to [redacted] with my query. I said to her please I dont have time for this. I called the insurance, they said they sent it to me. If they sent it to me, that means I gave it to Manhattan Total Health. SO PLEASE CHECK. I get a call two days later, with them implying that perhaps I cashed the check! So I lost it and said why dont you people call the insurance and figure it out. Turns out they did and they were clearly told that..that particular check was never cashed> VOILA!. I Still received letters and today I got a letter from their Attorneys. Trying to heal pain in my neck caused an even bigger pain in my life. I dont have time for all this nonsense. Avoid the useless company. They should deal with the insurance. IF they cant then they shouldn't be telling clients how 'simple' things are and then HARASSING THEM with letters. Not a single call to talk to me about it and every time I call the person in accounts it always goes to voicemail. So my advise is to avoid them completely! They also rip the insurance off by doing useless 'tests' on you which you should say NO to! Totally using insurance companies. The only person I will really miss are [redacted] the PT and the Chiropractor was a genuinely sweet person! I hope she starts her own practice so I can just go to her.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to stop harassing me and dealing with the insurance company.
