------- Forwarded message ----------From: Jeff L[redacted] <[redacted]@manheimimports.com>Date: Mon, Jun 13, 2016 at 12:28 PMSubject: ID [redacted]To: [redacted]@myRevdex.com.orgCc: [redacted] <[redacted]@manheimimports.com>[redacted] purchased a 2009 [redacted] from us on 10/13/2015 with 83,435 miles...

on the vehicle at time of purchase. The vehicle was sold to [redacted] with a 3 month / 5,000 mile POWERTRAIN Warranty (see attached) which was explained to [redacted] that warranty would cover only catastrophic failure of engine or transmission. Extended Warranty options were offered to [redacted] at the time of purchase in which [redacted] declined to extend any warranty coverage (see attachment). 10/21/15 [redacted] needed a bulb replaced which we replaced at NO CHARGE10/23/15 The Check Engine Light come on in the [redacted]. We told [redacted] that we would look at the vehicle and diagnose the issue for NO CHARGE since she had just purchased the vehicle 2 weeks earlier.10/26/15 [redacted] took the vehicle to Reading [redacted] to get the new key programmed which we purchased and paid for. At that time Reading [redacted] did a diagnosis on the Check engine light and diagnosed as a Catalytic Converter. We Told [redacted] to bring the vehicle to us and we would verify and make any necessary repairs and also provide her with a loaner vehicle. It then took 2 months for [redacted] to contact us and make an appointment for 12/28/15. At which time we diagnosed the check engine light and made a $360 repair to the [redacted] at NO COST to [redacted]. The repair did take a week due to the fact it was between the week of Christmas and New Years and we were only open 2 days that week and took an extra 2 days to get parts.[redacted] did have pay for the Door Lock issue since that issue occurred 2 moths into her ownership of the vehicle and was not covered by her Powertrain Warranty.   1/11/16 [redacted] dropped her car off to make necessary repairs now that the parts had arrived. We repaired the vehicle at NO COST but did find that the vehicle needed a second component, potentially the Catalytic Converter, and that we would need to send the vehicle to an outside shop that specialized in Exhaust work at NO COST to [redacted].2/23/16 [redacted] dropped vehicle off and we transported vehicle to the Exhaust shop and the Exhaust shop checked Catalytic converters and stated the Catalytic Converter was in good working order and that the vehicle needed and an O2 sensor. They replaced the O2 sensor (see attached). The vehicle was repaired and returned to [redacted] at NO COST.[redacted] contacted us a week later and stated the Check engine light came back on. We schedule to send a driver with a loaner vehicle to [redacted] since she was unable to get to Manheim Imports to drop her vehicle off. We picked up [redacted]s vehicle and took it back to the Exhaust shop to verify check engine light at which time the Exhaust shop recommended a Catalytic Converter which we had them repair (see attached) at NO COST to [redacted].We returned [redacted]s vehicle to her workplace.4/21/16 we were contacted that the check engine light was on again. We scheduled an appointment with [redacted] for 5/2/16. She missed the appointment. We have not heard from [redacted] after missing her appointment. As you can see from what has transpired we stand behind our vehicles and try to make any and all necessary repairs and work with the customer to remedy issues and at NO COST to the customer. Unfortunately we have 4 different parties involved, Manheim Imports, [redacted], Red Run Exhaust and Reading [redacted]. That makes for many different diagnosis and different perceptions of repairs. AT NO time was [redacted] taken advantage of. We only stood behind our vehicle and made any and all repairs, all transportation and loaner vehicles at NO COST to [redacted]. I would love the opportunity to speak with Reading [redacted] and work with [redacted] to make the necessary repairs. Thank you in advance and hope to speak with you soon!
